uh, i was gonna recommend VA too :P

other than that, try some of meg cabot books - how to be popular, princess diaries, etc.

Wow..I think I made a similar topic ages back and I was recommended love story by erich segal..hmm...I have more choices now. Thanks to everyone who contributed here. :) I am hoping all these books..have a beleivable transition from 'hatred' to 'love'...just saying cuz I've read many where it just doesn't seem real.
