Manavendra called Mr. Rai, 'hello, Mr. Rai, hope you got the papers and keys of the Mansion, I asked Nakul to send them to you, he has shifted my belongings to the new house I bought' Mr. Rai said, 'yes, I got the keys and papers and have called them to hand over, they are coming in the evening' Manavendra asked, 'will they live there?' the lawyer replied, 'I don't know, maybe may not be' MK asked 'if they ever plan to sell it please let me know I'll buy it' the older man said 'OK'

In the college,

Exams were on full swing and in a week, the 5^th year students will be given their office details where they will be joining for their training, Manavendra had said that the 2 toppers will be joining KK associates Mumbai for the training; everyone was trying their best to top.

One fine day after exams,

'Geetika, where are you?' called Mohinder, 'Baba I'm here, how was your Mumbai visit?' he smiled 'very fine, I have a good news for you' she was excited 'what news? You got me something?' he added 'yes, I have something for you, but it is not from me, it is from your maternal Grandfather' she looked at him in confusion, he said 'your grandfather, I mean your mother's father, he left when she eloped with me, and now after all these years he at his death bed remembered her and as she is no more he had left a huge Mansion for you, now you are a rich woman' she whistled 'wow, a very big house, how is it? Have you seen it? Baba please take me there I too want to see it' he laughed, 'no, I have not seen it, and you too are not going to see it, first complete your studies then we will go to see it someday' she cribbed, 'Baba please' he scolded her 'no, means no, now go and find where you are getting your training placement' she made a face and called the placement officer and was told that she will have to join in first week of Jan along with Pinky at KK associates Mumbai, she ran to her Baba, 'Baba, I get to work at KK associates Mumbai' he patted her and said ' that's good' she said 'Baba can I live in that Mansion' he gave her a stern look and said 'NO, you will be staying at Pinky's aunt's house and that's final'

Finally Geetika and Pinky settled at Aunt Rano's house, Rano was a decent lady and worked in a office near KK associates, it was decided that she will take the girls for first few days and once they become familiar they can come and go on their own.

As girls approached the 8 storied building they held each other's hands as it was the first time they were going to some new place that too without their parental assistance. As they entered the building Pinky collided with a bespectacled man who was in his late 20's, she fumbled and apologized, the man straightened himself and slide his specs back in place, 'it's ok, but you must watch where you walk' he looked at them from tip to toe and added 'are you two from Nasik?' Geetika said 'yes' he smiled and said, 'I am Adhiraj Gill, people call me Adi, I am structural engineer here' then he asked them to follow him, they came out of the lift at 5^th floor,

As they stepped out they noticed the name engraved ARCHITECTURE TRAINEE FLOOR, he took them to a woman in her mid thirties and said 'Ms. Sasha, these are your new trainees, Ms. Handa and Ms. Manchanda' Sasha gave the girls a deadly look and said 'who is who' Geetika stepped forward and said 'I am Geetika Handa and she is Pinky Manchanda' the lady nodded and asked them to follow her, Adi bid good bye and left the ladies entered a huge hall, it had 14 people working on their respective boards and each drawing board had a laptop with it, 2 places were empty where they had to sit, Sasha introduced them to the rest and said 'so girls, from now on you work here 9 am to 5 pm, with a lunch hour from 12:15 pm to 1:15pm, you will report to me every morning and every evening, there is the attendance register where you will sign in the morning and in the evening before leaving, is it clear?' the girls nodded and headed to their respective seats
