Young stars, younger moms
As lead actors get younger, their parents on screen get younger too- especially onscreen moms who are getting younger by the day. With mostly fresh faces seen on television these days, the actors playing parents carry more weight as they are not just experienced actors but also familiar faces on television. We take a look at few mother-child jodis and notice less than 10 years age gap between them. Guess a meaty role doesn't stop a true actor from playing mommy

Shruti Ulfat- Jai Soni in Sasuraal Genda Phool
Ishaan and his mother Rano share a sweet relationship. She cries at a drop of a hat and is a worrier in the family. Though Rano's role isn't as well etched as Radha bua or Badi ma in STAR Plus' Sasuraal Genda Phool, she makes her presence felt in the show. A mother and wife in real life, Shruti looks the mother of Ishaan aka Jai Soni on telly who is merely 25 years old while she is in her late 30s.
