Ethics Vs. Family Image

1. Those who care about ethics. They won't do anything wrong even secretly as it is against their CONSCIOUS.
2. Others will do anything secretly, but will present the clean image of themselves in front of society. They don't have any conscious, they only care about their so called IMAGE.
3. Others give a damn. They will commit crime openly.

Ethical Type

Kesar has been quiet over the whole issue but we know her thoughts would somewhat match of Ghanti Dadi.

Pratigya/Ghanti Dadi - They're ethical people. They are also concerned about the family's image and of the plight of Amma but at the same time, both of them are ethical. They equally care about Ganga. That is why they were concerned that Ganga was sent alone by Shakti at night. They're against the marriage of SAGA because it is morally and ethically wrong.

Image Type

Shakti/Komal - They don't really care if it is wrong or right, they care for the family's image. That is why for Komal, it is okay to kill a human being (Ganga) but it is not ok if the family image is ruined. She didn't blink when she told Shakti to kill Ganga. Obviously Shakti is worse than Komal when dealing with people.

Amma's concern is herself only. She give a damn about ethics. Yah she is concerned about family's reputation but rite now the concern for her marriage overshadows everything else.

Third Type

Sajjan Singh has given up everything. His own marriage he cares a damn about. He doesn't know what are ethics. The only weird part is doesn't even care about his family's Image. I guess he thinks his power takes over everything.

Confusion

The only confusing part is Krishna. What does he thinks? Afcourse he cares about his parents' marriage, which son won't? We know he is concerned about his family's image. Krishna's character can be very confusing sometimes.

What do you think? Does image matters more to Krishna or ethics does?

image matters to krishna but not on the cost of ethics & that is why he too was surprised when shakti said that he dropped ganga to bus stop. also asked amma if she is not behind ganga's missing from thakur niwas suddenly.

Great post. I think krishna is mixture of all. He alwayz finds temperory solutions to the problems. At the same time He will go to any extent if he feels tat he is correct regardless of consequenses. mostly he thinks in his pov only. He doesn't go through the matter deeply. When ss announced that he is not going to marry ganga, krish believed him, not even think for a second that his father can giveup easily. He alwayz follows his style no limits r no rules. Just my POV

agree.he always follows his style no limits r no rules.thats make him a complete man.he is a golden heart personality.he simply just can't harm anybody for his own selfish motive.and that why pratigya love her so much.

krishna is a mixture of all the 3 types ... in fact this kind of classification is confusing in itself...being ethical means projecting a good & ideal image of urself sometimes...

This inability to easily fit him in a mold is what makes him intruiging to viewers 😎

To answer your question - Krishna doesn't care about image going by all the public nautankis during the seperation track 😛 ... he cares about honour ... and the easiest way to maintain one's honour is to be ethical

K is really difficult to fit into some particular category...n that's what makes him unique...he follows his heart... we can say that he is a mixture of all the three categories...the only exception is he doesn't pretend to be someone else, he shows what he is , what he thinks , except in his job-lie track...he is selfish , but we have seen his selfless nature so many times, he can be cruel n ruthless but we have seen the extend of his kindness so many times, and he is never manipulating or cunning in a wrong way...ie, he has no problem in committing a crime openly, and cares about his honor, and also cares about what's right in his own way...but never pretends to be someone else or present a completely diff pic to the world
