What's the one story about Lord Ganesha that comes to your mind?
The birth story of Lord Ganesha where his head was chopped by Shivji and then an elephant head was joined later on by Shivji.
Which has been your best memory of the festival?
There is no special memory as such as each year we celebrate with the same enthusiasm.
Which is the best pandal you ever visited
I haven't visited any other pandal except Lalbaughcha Raja and I find it as best ever pandal in Mumbai.
What is your most favourite part of celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi?
The excitement begins from one month prior to the festival, but we don't show off in this festival as we believe in celebrating in a most sober way.
In the spirit of going green, do you think the festival should be celebrated in a environment friendly manner? What suggestions would you give people in this respect?
I think it is the need of the hour. So please go for the eco-friendly Ganpati and don't choose fancy idols. Just go with simple idols made of mud.
What are your plans for the festival this year?
I will be taking an off since even I am bringing Ganpati home for a day and a half. I will be spending time with my family members.

What's the one story about Lord Ganesha that comes to your mind? I remember the story where Ganpati and Karthik had a contest about who can travel around the earth the quickest. Ganapti was smart and took three rounds of his parents Shiv-Parvati and said they are his whole world.

I used to choreograph dance sequences for two years in my colony before marriage. It was fun.
Which is the best pandal you ever visited?
The pandal in Bhoomi Classic where I lived before marriage is beautiful and they have a different theme every year. Last year they had snowfall as the theme.
What is your most favourite part of celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi?
My favourite part is that all of Mumbai comes together to celebrate the festival. Even during the visarjan, the city celebrates together.

There should be no other choice but to have eco-friendly Ganpatis. It is time that we think about our environment and contribute towards maintaining it.

Daily soap actors hardly get any time but I will try to make time to visit my friends who bring Ganpati home.
