What's the one story about Lord Ganesha that comes to your mind?
The birth story of Lord Ganesha where his head was chopped by Shivji and then an elephant head was joined later on by Shivji.
Which has been your best memory of the festival?
There is no special memory as such as each year we celebrate with the same enthusiasm.
Which is the best pandal you ever visited
I haven't visited any other pandal except Lalbaughcha Raja and I find it as best ever pandal in Mumbai.
What is your most favourite part of celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi?
The excitement begins from one month prior to the festival, but we don't show off in this festival as we believe in celebrating in a most sober way.
In the spirit of going green, do you think the festival should be celebrated in a environment friendly manner? What suggestions would you give people in this respect?
I think it is the need of the hour. So please go for the eco-friendly Ganpati and don't choose fancy idols. Just go with simple idols made of mud.
What are your plans for the festival this year?
I will be taking an off since even I am bringing Ganpati home for a day and a half. I will be spending time with my family members.
