Lokhande has been replaced by Shweta Tiwari in a comedy show as she wasnt able to devote more time to rehearsals and continued throwing tantrums.Neha Maheshwri reports


We had earlier reported how Ankita Lokhande is giving a tough time to the makers of reality show Comedy Circus.The actress apparently rarely reported on time and didnt give adequate time for rehearsals as a result of which the final act suffered on the show.Her partner Kapil Sharma too was not happy with Ankita as he had to bear the brunt for the actress unprofessional attitude.The channel apparently was putting up with her uncooperative behaviour as she is a popular face but lack of rehearsals reflecting in her act on stage pushed them to reconsider their decision.Ankita wasnt able to match Kapils comic timing and despite him winning encouraging comments from the judges,the team consistently scored low.And now we hear that Ankita has been shown the door and Shweta Tiwari has taken her place.Tiwari,who has almost become a 4 am friend for the channel who bails them out in hour of need,will join the show after a couple of episodes.Earlier too Shweta was brought in to host a couple of episodes when the original host Resshmi Ghosh was ousted from the show.Refuting the buzz that she has been sacked,Ankita says,I have had to take the decision to quit Comedy Circus because it has been becoming impossible for me to handle two shows Pavitra Rishta and Comedy Circus together.Though I was trying to balance both,it was becoming very difficult for me to manage the timings of the shoots and so I had to make this decision. Well,no one is indispensable!
