Om Tryambakam Yajamahe

Sugandhim Pushtivardhanam

Urvaarukimiva Bandhanaath

Mrityor Mukshiiya Maamritat

Meaning of the mantra:

Mrityunjaya = Conquering the death

We pray/hail the fragrant Three-eyed One, Lord Shiva, who nourishes fullness of life. As the cucumber is liberated from captivity [from its stem], may we also be liberated from death not for the sake of immortality

Relation to CB:

This was the maha mrityunjaya mantra played in the BG (Suresh Wadekar's voice), also this is the mantra that Radhika chants while praying for Dadaji's well being. BG starts off with Gayatri mantra and then follows with Maha Mritunjaya Mantra. Along with the Gayatri mantra, Maha Mrityunjaya mantra holds the highest place among the many mantras used for contemplation and meditation.
That scene was very beautifully done and Radhika looks very beautiful - both as new bride and future RPian and as mentioned by Misti in her post, she looked very regal, Sindoor made her so complete and her face was glowing...This mantra was also played in CB1, when Dev is sick and Dadi decides to have this maha mrityunjaya jaap...
Mantra in Suresh Wadkar's voice:

Yes, Chalhov, it is said that this mantra is very powerful. Thanks for referring to that scene, yes, you are right. This same mantra was shown during the Shastriji's health scene, while Radhika was in the ashram.Also, I believe that OM here is addressed to Ganesha.

Myra: Very beautifully said. Even though you may not understand the words, you Understood the meaning of it very well, much more than some who would understand the words, but not the meaning.
Yes, her unshakable TRUST and utmost devotion and submission to God is core of being Radhika along with her love for Dev and her pure heart and innocence.
Thanks so much for those beautiful explanation...

You are welcome, Neeraja. Yes, CB and forum should be thanked for the knowledge. Yes, Radhika's innocence, her bhakti and these rituals attracted me to this show. Yes, you are right, it never appeared as it was a show or she was acting, but it felt that this is "real" Radhika. We grew up listening to this mantra(along with others) being chanted in our house. So, watching all the religious scenes felt as if it was happening in any normal household and many Thanks to Rubina for pouring life into Radhika.
