I think they all played their part, Geet was trying to tell either Maan or Dev the truth and then kept her ears open and found out about Nandini's whereabouts, Mamaji unintentionally found out also and then geet and him worked together to trap NT and help find Nandini, Dev listened to his gut and figured out something was wrong but till geet told him still he had no idea how far NT had gone but he was useful enough to got get nandini and loved t he fact he told NT about geet owning the property.
