yes. He says that he is not the kind of person to destroy an innocent girl's character.

He clarifies that it is not because he still has feelings for anandi. Infact, he has nothing to do with anandi anymore. He clarifies that the reason is because he has SELF RESPECT AND DIGNITY.

He cannot stoop to this level.

Seriously Tinoo, when I read the title of your thread, i knew you were pointing out to that dialogue of J. He and dignity/self respect are poles apart. I was laughing too when I heard that dialogue of his.

There were so many jokes today:

1. Anandi's students singing in the most off tune voices ever😆

2. Jagya lecturing Gauri on self respect, lies and trust.

3. Gauri blaming it on her madness: pata nahi mujhe kya ho jata hai. Everytime she does something that Jagya despises, she plays the madness card. Whatever good I do----like talking the principal, handling people sensibly, attending to patients----it's all done by me. Whatever bad I do---like shouting in full volume, attacking Anandi, plotting against Anandi-------it's not me, it's my evil alter ego taking over. "Yeh main nahi hoon", "pata nahi mujhe kya ho jata hai". Logic mast hai.🤣

4. Jagya lecturing Gauri on how it's bad to ruin someone else's reputation. And Gauri understands it only after lecture. Poor baby, nanhi jaan, she has no samajh of her own na!😳

5. Jagya convincing Gauri for half an hour that they don't need divorce. Next scene --lawyer's office, Gauri asking the lawyer about divorce.🤣

Yaa... I was taken aback too by that! 😆😆😆😆.

Whole episode spent in "hamari nazron se rishtey ko dekho; kannon ke nazron se mat dekho"

He cups gauri's face in her hands and tells her "I love only you. That is enough more than enough. We dont need legal recognition"
