Before I start my topic, I just wanted to give my take on last night's episode. I felt that overall, it was a good episode. Obvs the letter was the best part but I also liked the fact that Anant and Mohan are now BONDING! Like they share their secrets, they discuss their problems and find solutions together. They're not like girlie-girls like us who tell each other every single minute detail of their lives but yes, they do share a bond. I think this Anant-Mohan bond is beating the Anant-Nimmisha one because we haven't seen Nimmisha for a longgg time :P (I miss her, just saying.) But yeah, the whole introduction of the new family, the new Renuka track, and the pregnancy track is coming forward. And I guess that's what happens when Navya and Anant are farrr away from each other! Also, I just want to say that Navya's Kanpur family is quite weird. Her uncle keeps laughing. It's like, "dude, what is it?! Can you just stop now!" and her Ravi Bhaiyaa just looks like a creep and when he speaks English it's like "Please. Don't try." and that girl just THREW herself on Navya. Even Navya was like "WTH! WHO is she?" But worst of all is Navya's Aunt. No manners whatsoever. She just snatched the damn phone from her hand! Rude. But overall, it was a good episode, some interesting characters, some annoying and some just not needed i.e. that "chotu" guy.
Coming back to my topic, after watching the precap, I just feel that this whole No-Talking-To-Anant business is going a bit too far! It's like C'mon Girl, stand up for yourself and your love! It's doing injustice to Anant. He misses her like HELL and she's worried about her promise. I understand she wants to gain back her mother's trust but I think Meeta is going too far with the keeping-an-eye-on-Navya-even-when-she's-in-Kanpur. You can't stop a 19 year old from talking on their phone! She's an adult. She can do whatever she wants! Maybe I'm being harsh and bias here but I cannot SEE Anant in such a bad state! He just wants to TALK to her! SIX WEEKS WITHOUT YOUR GIRLFRIEND. That's not a joke! Firstly, she didn't tell him she's leaving, then she hardly says a proper good-bye and then she refuses to talk to him. In her defence, she's promised her mother. But WHO does such things?! Give the poor guy a break. He hasn't spoken to her properly in like YEARSSS! I can't WAIT until Anant comes for the wedding! I just need to see that smile on his face again! It's been AGES! So yeah. I think he's being treated unfairly.
On a side note, I misss Appy, Ritz, Ranbir & Harry! :( I need this 6-week drama to end. Now.
