Gulaal is the best serial ever made - Page 2

Gulaal CANNOT end... because if it does, then my faith in star plus' ends with it too... there hasn't been a show like Gulaal and from the looks of it, there will never be. I wonder what makes other shows garner super TRPs and rave reviews while Gulaal doesn't. But then, don't we all know how the TRP system works... only a show high on melodrama and ridiculous twists manages to stay on air, while a story as exquisite as Gulaal's bites the dust. Hell ! But if you look closely, Gulaal is one show which holds on to my interest (and I am sure I am not alone in this ) with its superb direction, camerawork, real dialogues and great actors - all of which leaves us emotionally charged and rightly so. Mansi Parekh is a complete actor... the character she portrays isn't simple to begin with... she is high-spirited, with inbred values, headstrong, loving, frank but not really overt and the way she is keeping her distance from Kesar, yet, at the same time, helping him become the man he has the potential to be, makes me want to stand up and applaud the beauty and will of this woman. And what can we possibly say about Neil Bhatt that hasn't been said before. As a girl (straight one at that), I can't take my eyes off him. But even when I think of him in isolation, as an actor, the guy just continues to surprise me with his talent. The little nuances, the way he modulates his voice, his initial anger and resentment against Gulaal, and then pop goes his heart whenever he sees her in pain, and that Historic scene where he confesses his love for her, with her slapping him about 10-12 times, and he standing erect, because he knows it isn't easy for her and he is ready to bear the pain with grace... the way he just can't stop loving and caring for her, even though he knows that his love will probably never be reciprocated... Oh... I think I adore this guy ( not in a crazy stalking kinda way, but it is more of "sucker for good talent" kinda thing for me)... Manoj Joshi is wonderful in his portrayal of Mota bha - the head of the village, the head of the family, a man of principles and a heart full of love for all... a real classact. Jamuna Ba is a wicked woman with a difference... you feel like shouting at her, but, damn, she still gives a human vibe. Sushant Singh is one subtle actor and I can go on and on about the high points of this show... but it's 9 p.m. already and Gulaal is On...:-) ...

YES gulaal is definately the bestest show ever on indian television , i dont know how to compliment the show starting from the story the pace the freshness,u cant predict whats going to happen next, the actors mansi and neil superb superb mind u guys u dont have to win those ghatiya and thakela star awards for ur recognition,the sets so real, the costumes, the make up so suttle ,the brilliant dialouges,the whole kutch background,and offcourse piyuuu mari takes my breath away whenever played...i dont think i have ever come across a package so perfect ,gulaal team u rock ...we love u ...thank u for giving us gulaal..
