Creative Liberties!!

Last week I missed the show and did not have time to catch up too this week I sat down to watch it and lo and behold here was our Chandragupt all grown up chasing the greek soldiers...Chanakya planning how to get into war with Alexander???? I rubbed my eyes and thought am I seeing correctly? As per my knowledge Alexander stayed in India for 2 years...if I am not mistaken this serial has taken a 6 years leap...Chanakya was apprehensive of Alexander, he was worried abut foreign invasion but frankly speaking I do not think he got to meet Alex as Alex left soon after his war with Puru, his soldiers wanted to go home...I know history is not well defined during that period but this is the fact we all know...taking creative liberties is fine but then I guess there is a limit to it specially when you are narrating such a popular piece from the history books...Your thoughts friends, Love Tin

But i guess it's inevitable. For the purposes of fiction, such creative liberties HAVE to be taken.
