Today's episode was mighty disappointing! Do the makers of this serial really take issues seriously? Or is it supposed to be a JOKE?

Anandi says to Gehna that there is NO need for her to come to school since she already knows a lot! What??!!! What does it mean?! Gehna is only Class 8 pass out. Does an aathvi paas know everything??!!😲

Then Anandi must be equivalent to a Professor since she is Class 12 pass out!😆

And what was Anandi doing with Sumitra? Was it playing school-school like kids?!

She first started with chanting of OM as if it were a meditation class. Then she started teaching her Hindi alphabet. Now, if we begin with alphabet, then we move step by step. We then teach words, later teach sentences. But no! Anandi started teaching her idioms and proverbs in ONE GO!!

Also, how come kids' classes ended so soon? At around 12:30 PM only? Is it a nursery school?

Is education or shiksha abhiyan a joke? Is it so simple almost like child's play?!

Even volunteers with NGOs, members of NSS units and Teach India fellows do much more than what Anandi is shown doing!! The BIGGEST thing is that things should be done in a structured manner!

Anandi is so clueless! She did not know what to teach Sumitra, where to begin. She taught alphabet and idioms in just ONE class?!!

Either show Anandi getting proper training from an NGO or do a B.Ed through correspondence.

Show things in a proper manner! And why is being Class 8 pass shown as something of a BIG deal? Does it mean people like Gehna need no education?!

Silly message and total kid glove handling of a serious issue! Mazaak bana rakha hai!😡

aree anandi's words to gehena is to say...she needs not to study hindi letters...as she already knew it!!

and sumitra...she left study long back...and never interested in it!!

but now...she wants to study with interest...thats y she said...pure dil se suru karna chahti hoon...and strats from letters...not coz she didnt knew the basic hindi letters!!

and she knew it before...thats y she wrote in hindi but not very much comfortable thats y...anandi helped her...!!

and trust me...it happened when someone is not in a touch of study for long...can get some difficulty in writing it...!!

i saw it...my grand mom is an example!!

So agree with you, am still in shock wth what just saw, really anandi teaching hindi alphabets and then jumped to Kabir's doha and in the precap Sumitra ended up writing a full sentence...that tables were silly too, lyk doesnt Sumitra know the numbers , how does she do her shopping, it was such a joke...and Gehna she practically wasted her tym today, i bet u her 8th std studies have been more effective then whatever Anandi has done.

Rather than herself teachng all those girls she should try to send them to school lyk phooli where they can get wholesome education, lyk in some places we have evening classes for under-priviledged sections.

How can she alone teach every1, it was such a joke...from that class room slate , Sumitra jumped to pen and paper, really how dumb?

Please CV's this track is good but should have been ntroduced later,1st let Anandi herself become fully qualified, get proper university education then bring her back and start her NGO work.

Really Cv's had great momentum last week this week they have drained the whole lead, such a big let down.

They should show proper process. I am not saying why Sumitra was writing alphabets. Rather I am wondering how she was taught to write sentences and idioms in just one class? Right after learning alphabet?

Why make a mockery of education? Why such a rushed, mish-mash khichdi type class?

nah nah...annika...sumitra did know...the basic things yaar!!... (as anandi said..aap ko toh akhyar gyaan hai maa...sab padh likh sakti hain aap!) sumitra ne school main padhai ki hui hai...thoda bahat...bilkul anpadh nehin hai...

baas dil se padhai nehin ki...!!

so she said...aaj letters se strats karte hai...jese har koi pehele sikhta hai...varn mala!!

it was just a symbol...that...dil se start kiya...from beginning!!😊

@Khusi , exactly she should have taken it slow, i mean cv's should have played the backround score of she teaching without rushing and skipping so many lessons and showed Anandi pullin an all nighter for studies at the same tym.

there's a major flaw in Anandi's program, her class will have people whose literacy level varies like Sumitra and Gehna, how will she handle that, she cannot have them all together, with children in the early shift,she is nothin but trying to run a parallel school without any teachin staff hence the whole chaos.

Here lies the cv's problem, i think they jumped too quick on this education drive , Anandi should have 1st studied herself then started an NGO with like minded people and then this shikha abhiyaan would have bore any real fruits.

this is what i feel. Sumitra already knows to read and write. but to start initially she wrote alphabets which sumitra already knows.

so may be she felt its just not that important to continue with alphabets and ended with idoms.

may be she continued till evening right so she might have covered all. b'coz by the time they came home it was evening right i.e tea time.

and what ever she told to Gehna might be with respect to Sumitra i think. for time being she want Gehna to be at home becoz its initial stage of education. she might ask he later to come. just my guess and POV. i may be wrong also.

coming to kids school ending early i saw cases as such. my cousin when she was a kid studied in a small village where the school used to be till noon or so till she was in her 6th or 7th class. i think it can be the case tooo

genie...completely agree with u on anandi's further education...she should think of her education 1st!!...1001% agree!!

see...anandi didnt skip anything...i just tried to explain it...in my above prev 2 post...that sumitra is not total anpadh!!

she knew manything...anandi ne wahan tak padhaya jahan tak sumi ko pata hai...!!

just a type of revision!!...

i am very bad at explaining things...thats y i couldnt take up lecturer job...and took the charge of WU very late in this forum!!...mujhe nehin pata jo main batane ki koshish kar rahi hoon...tumko samjha paa rahi hoon yaa nehin!!

Exactly Anjani! How will one person tackle people of varying literacy levels? And why not show things in a proper way? How can one graduate from alphabets to idioms and proverbs so soon?

If it is a shiksha abhiyan it should be shown in a proper and no-nonsense manner. Not like a game of school-school!

Anandi should have studied first or side by side and then started school with like-minded people or fellow volunteers!

Or she can have classes in early morning or late evening. Not afternoon when ladies are busy with kids, lunch etc. Otherwise everyone will try to wriggle out and rush from the class!

She can divide people into groups and take classes for people of different literacy levels at different times of the day or different times of the week.

This whole thing is so laughable the way they are showing it! Even kids who volunteer in their neighbourhoods and take classes of poor kids for time pass in summer vacation do better than what Anandi was shown doing today.

Gehna was sitting there smiling. Why? Are you serious or doing it all to make your kiddo happy? Dil rakhne ke liye baithe ho kya?

Please don't make it child's play or a game of school-school!

Four points

1. Personally, I think sumitra and gehna are doing anandi a big dis-service. It is obvious that this was done in the spirit of humouring anandi (not in a mean sense, but still, to make her feel good). Now anandi is lulled into a false sense of security about her having a proudh shikhshan class. I would rather that she have had a) genuine students or b) no students at all ... so that she had a real sense of where she stood. It is quite possible that with no students she would have thought of going to college. But now with sumitra and gehna she feels that she has two "students" - so she is now just spinning her wheels.

2. This is not to say that sumitra's education should not be encouraged just because she is happily married... but still I really feel that anandi needs to have her priorities straight, and a lot of this can be done even at home at night. The marginal value of educating sumitra is far less than the marginal value of educating herself in college at this time. And if sumitra were really interested, bhairon too can spare some time for her at night. It is not like they have young children who need tucking in and bed time stories etc. Dadisa is old and will retire early, and they dont have kids like Nandu ,... so after dinner, sumitra could easily get herself educated...no need for anandi to do it in her praudh shikshan class.

3. The other thing that was insane was that the class was held from 12:30 to 4 in the afternoon. Adult education centers in classes always run from 8:30 to 10 pm at night -- after adults have taken care of their work.

All the women in the homes have to work - do the housework and look after their kids. The men have to go to work.

Just because sumitra and gehna have household help to do work and they are well off - they have this luxury. Otherwise, if you notice, all the other women are working when anandi goes to ask them to come to school - powdring spices, drawing water from a well etc.

4. Finally, I reiterate that currently all of anandi's efforts are very very upstream ...because the whole village sees her as simply vela -- just having a lot of time on her hands without beendh and without children. The singhs have been very indulgent towards their daughter in law -- she leaves at 8 in the morning and teaches until noon or so -- but others will not be so.

I still feel that the values of anandi's efforts will only be recognized if she educates herself and then does something big for the village -- like becoming a lawyer and getting back an illiterate farmer's land from sahukar -- or something like that.

Then people will respect anandi and themselves say "we want education, we want our beendhnis to be educated".
