Thanks Tinoo.
That's what I said to Pranjjal also in my reply to her on previous page. I have never seen Anandi explain practical importance of education to her students. I have never seen a single episode in which Anandi tells them how to apply their learning in real life or inspires them to help their parents. Basic things like basics of Constitution, fundamental rights and duties, elementary awareness of duties of citizens, consumer awareness etc. They've shown nothing of that!
Nowadays, even books of primary kids have basic knowledge and emphasise on practical application of knowledge.
It is not even known whether Anandi's girls' school has any affiliation or recognition or not.
If they have to show things, they should show in realistic manner. And please don't show it like a deserted wife's timepass activity!
At times there are informal schools and classes like this even in urban areas. Such organisations or classes ensure that once their students have basic literacy or certain level of education, they are enrolled in proper government or private schools or pursue education through NIOS or IGNOU and ultimately appear in board exams.
In villages there are also classes which impart vocational training or train people to start their own business, even if it is making pickles or craft items!
I hope in future they handle it properly. Otherwise school-school ka khel with family members and chanting of Om is not of any use.
It would be best if they make her a youth role model first, becoming village youth's Anandi didi, inspiring youth to join her org and teach others as well as inspire their parents and grandparents to pursue education or get vocational training.
