Written Update:15th August

Minu ties rakhi to Mahen and asks for a gift. He gifts her a potrait which he did himself. She is excited & turns around to show it to others, when she sees Angad standing with a sad smile. She turns back & thanks Mahen. Next she ties raakhi to Uttang, but keeps glancing back at Angad. Sad tune plays & Uttang also glances at Angad. She gifts him a mobile & bro-sis share a cute hug.Minu again glances sideways at her bro, then at Shobna who shakes her head warningly. Minu then grabs her clutch purse & walks to the door. Angad is standing there. She then says that you were away from me for past 8 years. Every year she sent the raakhis but could not tie them. She says today she will fulfil that wish & takes out all the past rakhis(which Laxmi had given to her). He is not sure & says Di. Minu scolds him for standing afar from everyone thinking that his sister wouldn't tie raakhi to him. She says I'd rather die if that happens. Angad is emotional. She adds that anger has its place, but love has a place of its own too.Laxmi, Dadi & Kaveri smile, Shobna frowns, Vijay sorta agrees, but is passive as ever. Laxmi rushes to get the aarti plate. Minu puts tilak saying that she wants to fulfil her 8 yr old dream. Vijay smiles!! (haila😲) Angad is crying & looking at Laxmi who nods. V nice bro-sis moment as both of them are crying and sharing sweets. She v sweetly wipes away his tears and asks for her gift.Angad doesn't have it & Minu knows so she adds that she doesn't want anything as she knew he wouldn't have anything for her. He takes out money from his kurta pocket & asks her to keep it otherwise she will keep on taunting him for the rest of his life! Everyone smiles. He adds that get a dress for yourself which makes you look slim! Minu starts fighting that you know I have slimmed down...he says don't try to convince yourself. She hits him & he hugs her. Uttang rushes there that he is the fatso, so he should be teased. Angad teases him about coming in between. Both of them fight as to whom Minu loves the most. Minu says she loves both of them equally! V sweet moments. 😳

Laxmi sees Shobna all in anger. She puts the rakhi plate on the table & looks at Tej, then Raandal. She then addresses Vijay as babuji. Dadaji has to nudge Vijay to hear her out!! 😆She says that Raadal is upset since she doesn't have any brother. Uttang is standing shaking his head. Laxmi requests to get Raandal to tie rakhi to Tej as he is also away from his home & must be missing his family. Both will get a bro-sis on this day. Vijay (hmmm...when did he start speaking to Laxmi??😛) happily agrees to the idea along with the others nodding encouragingly. Tej...his expressions...priceless!! 😃Raandal takes the raakhi, walks upto him, but just then he pretends to fall down & hurts his wrist. Everyone sends him off to his room & the raakhi is not tied(Darn!!)

Mahen in his room is writing on a blackboard, while Uttang, Angad & Laxmi stand & watch. Uttang asks what is he upto when Mahen says he is giving points. Minu got 5 pts for tying raakhi to Angad, Uttang says then give me 100 pts. Mahen asks why? He says there were so many sweets, I didn't eat any, just tasted 5!lol...😆So Mahen gives him -5 point. Then he is about to give points to Laxmi when Angad says he will give her the points...gives her 10 as his wrist is now adorned by raakhi due to her efforts. Laxmi whispers concern to Mahen who claps. Then he tells Angad that he is not getting any points as he did not do anything special! Then he gives -10 to Shobna for stopping Angad from getting raakhi tied from Minaxi. Shobna who was passing by has heard this.

Laxmi is in the kitchen happy that Minu-Angad bitterness has now dissolved & also that she got 10 points from Angad. Tej comes there & says 0 from me. He says no one can beat Tej in smartness. He taunts her for her plot & says that nothing would change his feelings for Raandal, not even the bond of raakhi. He asks her to quit worrying about Raandal & worry about his lust! Laxmi expresses her disgust, but has no effect on Tej who gives further warning to her & walks away. Laxmi stops him & says remember you sow what you reap(she said another hindi idiom but it meant the same)...Tej retorts back saying that no such thorn has been invented till date to hurt him & invites her to test it out. (This has to be a prelude to Raandal rape coming up soon!)Yuck!!🤢

Angad, Dadaji, Mahen & Uttang are playing carrom when Angad hits the striker which flies to the floor. Vijay comes there & tells Dadaji that one of the trucks carrying their goods has met with an accident & he needs to go there asap. Angad says he will accompany him. Vijay, whilst addressing Dadaji, taunts him, saying that he is used to working alone,whether someone is here or in NZ. Tej is standing behind him & says that since it's an accident case, he will accompany him..if he is not a son, at least he is like a son!(eeks!!🤢) Vijay agrees & they both leave. The trio look at Angad. Mahen asks Dadaji to call for sweets. They all look at him as if he has gone mad! He says that he understood what Viju kaka said whilst the others were busy just digesting his words. He declares that Vijay just took Tej to tease Angad, but hasn't actually broken relations with Angad. Mahen adds that today he spoke indirectly, tomorrow he will be direct.

Laxmi is sad in her room, in front of dressing room. Angad comes all excited that he & Uttang defeated Dadaji by 21 points. She gets up. He comments on her sudden movement & interprets it as her getting conscious. She makes an excuse of work in kitchen & goes away. Angad comments on the fact that he is yet to understand Laxmi. He opens the wardrobe, takes something from the drawer, closes the door & realises what caught his attention in the wardrobe. It's the saree. He recollects Laxmi saying that she will return the sari to his mom & wait till she gets it from her before donning it. He takes it out & sees it's a small pc. Then he pulls out the other half of it. Laxmi just comes in & Angad calls her out. She turns towards him & sees him with 2 pcs of saari. He is waiting for an explanation. Laxmi is stuttering. Angad says that how come you didn't tell me? Laxmi says that I thought...Angad said what? That I would create an issue about it?? Then you are right! I am going to talk to her...Laxmi tries to cool him down but he is determined to find out what was so bad that Shobna had to take such a drastic step? Laxmi tries stopping him. Angad tells her not to stop him or accompany him as he needs to talk to his mom alone. Laxmi is nervous.

Precap: Angad & Laxmi are in their room when Shobna knocks & seeks permission to come in. The 3 just stare at one another.
