What I am surprised at is that Jagat did not lie to the lawyer as is his regular habit ... and try to tell him that he was only 18, so he was within the two year period given by law to annul his marriage immediately on the spot. 😆😆

However, the lawyer too was clever. He didnt directly ask Jagya the question "how old are you?" ... he said "aapko dekh kar lagta hai ki aapko baalig hue kafi saal huey hain"

I loved the lawyers dialogues yesterday --

"Pehle crime karte ho, aur fir usko legalize karne mere paas aate ho"

and

"Jo choti si kasar aapke wife ke parents ne baaki chodi thi unke life destroy karne main, woh aapne poori kar di ki"

and to Jagya's question - if his living in Mumbai and her in the village was not a valid grounds for divorce -- the lawyer's simple reply was too funny 😆 "Well, just bring her to mumbai to live with you." Problem solved!!

Yaaay !!! Jagya jayega jail...Gauri layegi Bail 😆

I happy tht BV is showing the legal aspects in detail...other serials just show tht people sign on divorce papers aur ho gaya divorce It creates misconception tht divorce is easy.

BV is watched in many rural areas where people are ignorent of laws so in a way it'll educate them on legal process.
