Dev's character is such that he looks for excuse to spend time with Radhika. Now he is engaged and allowed to do that and he is not planning to drop them or wanting to spend any time with Radhika. Even during the phone call, he never said to Radhika that he would come to see her after the muth case. This is not Dev and they are just changing his character to suit their own agenda.

Same with Radhika. She doesn't care about the society. All she cares about is Dev. Yet they gave her those dialogues yesterday. Yes, she would advice Dev on RP issues, but she would have left it at that. The extra dialogues spoken by her didn't go with her character either.

Good going creatives. Destroy your leads by making them act their characterization and reducing all the screen time between them. They are being given minimal space where they have to be given as they are needed for the scene. So there is an engagement and they had absolutely no dialogue with each other for three days.

Yes...dadaji is a hypocrit ...did you notice today that he conveniently did not mention to the pandit why Radhika was forced to act as Rohan's wife...he is protecting his own grandson at the expense of Radhika. He never once mentioned what Rohan has done. I know that Radhika has done wrong but Rohan has too but he is protecting his families image.
Yes, I noticed that. He was saving his psycho grandson Rohan's image at Radhika's expense. Yes, Radhika made a mistake, but her mistake now pales in comparison with Rohan has done. Yet he is being protected just as Maheswari and Virat are being protected (I know Dev did that but it goes against his characterization; it would have been done by Padma and Dadaji and not by Dev). So every member of Dadaji's family would be protected but not Radhika who would be fed to wolves by Dadaji. So Rohan's attempts of murder and rape would be swept under the carpet but Radhika would pay the price for crimes of Dadaji's family. I am ok with that as this is how they have shown Dadaji.

My biggest concern remains Dev. There is no way that Dev can leave Radhika at this juncture. If he has to use his childhood marriage, he would do so because he will not reject Radhika, humilate her in public and endorse people's comments (that is what would happen if he agrees to marry Barkha). On top of that, he would be leaving Radhika in Mansa's family where he knows Shanti's treatment to Radhika. So he will become a user just as Dadaji is if he is shown to do that regardless of what Radhika tells him to do.

My fear is that this is the goal of creatives because they want to have Barkha in the middle as the main character (if she becomes choti bahu, the title applies to her). Radhika is being reduced to a side character and so is Dev for that matter.

Well they should look at ratings of the show this week. The show that was going up has started to go down because the audience has started realizing what is happening.

I have never seen a show that seems to be deliberately getting destroyed in such a manner and that too in 6 months since its origination. The shows start going downhall after a year and a half or so once the makers run out of story ideas. But here this show is just starting and they are destroying the characters of their leads as well as the theme.
