you are also saying that i'm avoiding discussion and not giving any solid points. however, i gave you solid points again and again but you gave none. i told you about their caste being different, about their blood not being the same, but so far all you have said is - this is the belief in your society. that is not a solid point dear!
you say that since Vidya married into a jat family, she must follow their customs - WHAT marriage??? Vidya has already washed her hands off that marriage and i'm with her all the way. marriage is not just made by saat phere, it's made by 2 people committing to each other. whatever phere gaurav took with her were a lie, so there is no marriage. Vidya is free of that marriage and free to make a life with Cheenu or any other man for that matter.

i'm not judging you i just replied to your post. and you are right that they don't belong to the same caste. and dear in my very first post i wrote that thats not my point of view its the society norm. and i'm never saying that they shouldn't be together. i made this post because i wanted to know different people's opinions. here i'm not trying to prove that they can't together because they are like brother-sister. also if two cousins don't consider each other brother-sister and wants to marry them is that right? its also a question. they don't take each other as brother-sister but its the society which binds them into that relationship. in vedas reason to not marry relatives is clealry given.

vidya is jat. and i said about priya not vidya. you are right that the marriage is null. but before going into another relationship in my opinion she must take divorce. and thats purely my thinking. in that way she will not be related to them anymore.

the case of cousins marrying is completely different because in the case of cousins, the bloodline is the same. in vidya and cheenu's case, their blood is not even remotely related so you can't compare them to cousins.
regarding you saying that Priya married into a jat family, hence should follow their customs, etc - Priya married a jat but Cheenu DIDN'T! so i don't want to suffocate him with any jat traditions. and as for Priya, i hope she will always use her brain and not follow any customs blindly.

and as for Vidya, i'm sure she is not thinking about any relationships right now. she is just trying to figure out what to do with her life now that she can't go back to either her parents' or her in-laws'.
Vidya is not "trying" to fall in love with Cheenu, it will just happen on its own and i won't point fingers at her for it.
