The scene that was to be-Dev reciting kavita to Radhika

This thread is in reference to the last Friday's episode (august 5)...Anticipation was in the air--we were all waiting for Dev to recite his "kavita" to Radhika (previous precap had suggested this) 'we were waiting for that memorable RaDev moment...but alas!! we only got part of the scene...the scene felt incomplete

One of the creators, I am in touch with, shared the "original scene", scripted by Mr. Manasvi Sharma and I have the permission to share the scene with you all'

The scene is just beautiful and magical, and reading this we can all visualize the scene---so please read, and let your imagination fly to that special moment'...

SC : EXTERIOR LOCATION/ DAY/ EXT

RADHIKA, DEV

DEV and RADHIKA are sitting in the car. Its raining outside. DEV looks upset as he says:

DEV

Kitna achchha surprise plan kiya tha maine. Sab flop ho gaya!!

Radhika looks at him and asks:

RADHIKA

Kya socha thaa aapne?

DEV begins to describe:

DEV

Hum dono Krishna leela mein pahli baar mile the. Maine yahaan par sab kuchh waisa banwaya hai jaisa us din tha jab hum pahli baar mile the... Ye meri taraf se tumhe hamari shaadi ka pahlaa shagun hotaa. Par ab baarish ki wajah se yahaan kuchh bhi nahi hai...

RADHIKA smiles and looks around. She sees a small shed there and says:

RADHIKA
Mere saath aaiye...

DEV
Kahaan? Baahar bheeg jaaogi...

RADHIKA
Us shed ke neeche. Nahi bheegenge hum...

Both get out of the car and rush towards the shed' once in the safety of the shed, Radhika says:

RADHIKA
Ab in boondon ke pardon mein se dekhiye. Sab kuchh waisa hai naa jaisa aap mujhe dikhana chahte the?? Wo Krishna leela. Wo gopiyon kaa nritya. Wo hamaari chhed chhaad.

Dev is amazed at Radhika's positive attitude. He just smiles at her and looks at her admiringly. Song starts. Radhika baate karte karte realises that Dev is looking at her and blushing gestures as if asking him as to why is he looking at her. Dev gestures that she is looking very beautiful. Radhika nazrein jhuka leti hai' and just then a gush of wind blows the rain towards the shed' aur Dev beech mein aa jaata hai acting as a shield so that Radhika doesn't get wet' Radhika are Dev are standing very close to each other and Radhika is feeling shy while Dev just keeps on looking at her' and background mein gaana chal rahaa hai. (Channel note: tasneem plz let us know about the song well in advance to avoid delays) and very ethereal kind of moments between them' where with the song/flute in the background, Dev just keeps on looking at her' the winds blowing her hair. Radhika who is blushing away, for a moment looks a Dev and their eyes lock' and they keep on looking at each other' in love and extreme devotion' the song stops.

DEV tries to take a piece of paper out of his pocket. Radhika notices it and DEV immediately keeps it back.

RADHIKA (CONT'D)
Kya chhupa rahe hain mujhse?

DEV shakes his head. RADHIKA insists:

RADHIKA (CONT'D)
Dikhaaiye mujhe...

DEV hesitantly takes out the piece of paper. RADHIKA asks:

RADHIKA (CONT'D)
Ye kya hai?

DEV
Maine... kal raat ek kavita likhi thi... pahli baar...

RADHIKA
Sach? Sunaaiye naa...

DEV
Tum hansogi to nahi...

RADHIKA shakes her head. DEV opens the paper and says:

DEV (CONT'D)
Ab to bas pal pal gin kar us pal kaa intzaar hai...

Jab mehdi lage haath mere haath dharogi...

Jab laal surkh ghunghat mein sharmaayega chehraa...

Jab aalte se range paaon mere aangan mein rakhogi...

Jab mujhe neend se...

DEV looks up and stops. Sees that RADHIKA's eyes are all welled up. DEV says:

DEV (CONT'D)
Ayeee... hansne se manaa kiya tha.. rone ko nahi kahaa tha...

RADHIKA just shakes her head gesturing that it is nothing. She holds the paper with both her hands and kisses it. Cam charges on DEV who is happy to see her happy.

Thank you so much for sharing! It was so beautiful and the poem so cute...why,why they edited such scene...when its such a good script,good actors to work with...its realy dificult for me to undestand their mind...First in the maha epi and then now...cuting radev scenes is their habbit now...they r getting on my nerves...why did they do it, to alow more screen to new phsyco barkha 😡

Wow!! Radhika.../ this would have been such a beautiful scene had it been executed! 😍 I was imagining Radev / Avina while reading it. It would have made that episode so much more enjoyable. Instead we got a mish mash of unwanted scenes that left a bad taste
I wonder how many such scenes were written by the writers that were edited out of the final product. How can anyone in their right mind make a decision to delete this scene and keep other insignificant / irritating scenes?

wow radhika, such a wonderful scene for which the audience are thirsting for khudos to manaswi for such a script but why did cv's edit the scene they really doesn't know the proper ways of editing

That is indeed beautiful Radhika5. Please convey my thanks to the writers for creating such a beautiful scene...while I was reading it I was imagening Avinash and Rubina as Dev and Radhika in that scne...Devs happiness, Radhika being shy and then in awe that her KK has done this for her.

Thanks for sharing this beautiful scene with us.Now i want to scold that GREAT EDITOR who only knows to cut the important scenes and insert Barkha scenes artificially.I am just imagining now how wonderful the scene would have been if they had not edited it.

USUALLY ITS THE DIRECTOR WHO FINALLY OKS THE EPISODE BUT IF ITS CUT AT THE EDITING LEVEL HE/SHE MAY NOT KNOW ABOUT IT 😡😡 I WONDER WHO IS SABOTAGING THE SHOW AND CUTTING INTO THE PARTS OF THE LEADS AND ITS BEEN HAPPENING SINCE THE ME INCLUDING ME

Wow Radhika, that was indeed a beautiful scene.Thank you for getting hold of this and Kudos to the writer. How can some body in the right frame of mind can can edit this scene😡. I am sure Avinash and Rubina put lot of effort in this scene.
