How is Arnav better than Shyam anyway?! - Page 2

Achcha, so if I may repost an answer I made on another thread:

I think the difference is that Arnav doesnt realize what his feelings are for Khushi and as he told Anjali today, even if he comes to know his feelings, he has every intention of ignoring it. La is his logical choice and he means to stick with her. 😕

Shyam on the other hand is a cheapo who has a wife at home and that too one like Anjali and is still hanging out for Khushi and trying his best to get with her. And he's trying to justify it by saying all is fair in love. But he doesnt have enough conviction in his love to face his wife and tell her what's going on. 😡

I guess the central conflict of the two male leads is that one is fully governed by his head (Arnav) and the other is fully governed by his heart (Shyam). But the problem is that the second one is just completely unsympathetic in the current situation. 😆 Unless the CVs have some grand plans up their sleeves to redeem Shyam.

I really hope there is some way that Shyam comes to his senses with Khushi but my fear is that now things have definitely got to a point where things cant be mended without hearts breaking even if nothing more happens than has already happened. No matter what, Shyam will be outed as a liar at some point, either to Khushi or to Anjali or possibly both.

ETA - I hope the CVs don't completely ruin it by explaining the difference between Arnav and Shyam as the fact that Larnav aren't married but *only* living together where Shyanjali is *actually* married because that's just so backward.😡

Well i wont compare Arnav with shyam but yes i agree that what Arnav is doing is wrong.

Arnav is fighting this thing he has got going on in his mind about Khushi. He hasn't put a name on it and keeps saying to himself that why do I keep thinking about her. In the meantime, he is moving on in his relationship with La. Right now, the only person Arnav is really fooling is himself. And that is the difference with Shyam.

Arnav is not deceiving Lavanya while Shyam is deceiving Anjali and doesn't care two hoots about it, he holds her and thinks about someone else... 👏👏 i think arnav will not leave lavanya, she will leave him eventually when she realises that he doesn't love her. the creatives can't show the lead so negative, I am sure arnav is a man of his words IF HE PROMISES marriage to lavs he will marry her but there is no expectation of a marriage even from lavs side.and lavanya too doesn't want to get married"that's what arnav said" so in this case it is a relationship of convenience without any promises.

I completely agree with DD Arnav is still attracted to Khushi subconsciously, whereas Shyam knows he is checking Khushi out, and he is lying to Anjali in his senses, while Arnav is just trying to get rid of Khushi from his thoughts...and to do that, he's trying to force himself to get closer to La

But that treacherous Shyam IS two timing Anjali. He is so pretentious with his goody goody wisdom and handling of crisis.Its matter of time his lie will be exposed. But we cannot compare both of them at all in my POV

It is different Shyam is married to Anjali, he shouldn't be thinking of another woman the way he does about Khushi. He is wrong
