I do agree that Anandi has always been shown to be a very sensitive person and her first impulse is to always try and please those around her. So then - can you imagine how upset she must have become at realizing how deeply she has upset her parents FOR THE FIRST TIME in her life ? This is her personality - she is not faking it. My sister is like this. Some people tend to take things to heart and Anandi had way too much to handle. The strongest among us can become weak when faced with a parents' disapproval - atleast I can easily imagine her to come down with a raging fever..
It was wonderful of BV to show this incident - this sensitivity is what makes this serial so different from the run-of-the-mill saas-bahu-sauten crap. 👏

I know that she is very sensitive. I never said she was faking it or over-reacting. I am sorry if my post gave that impression...
I am also hypersensitive and if I had ended up hurting my parents unintentionally like Anandi did, then I have also have felt guilty and felt like beating myself up! But instead of lying on the floor and falling in depression mode, I would have tried to call my parents and immediately talk to them and ask for forgiveness or I would have taken the first bus to my village and gone to my parents' house to explain my situation and ask for pardon!
See, all I wanted to say is that what Anandi is doing is never a solution. It is only hurting her. Do her parents know how much she is repenting and hurting after talking like that? No!
Clutching to their photo and saying maaf kar do is a no good option. Instead, she should have kept calling her parents and had a long talk with them or should have asked her family members to take her to them! I know I would have run to them if I had hurt them...my guilt would have driven me to directly communicate to them as soon as possible.
That's all I am saying.
Also, another thing I said was that even if she grieves, they make her squeak like little Anandi, which is not right anymore. Pratyusha should not be made to act like Avika! I mean there's a difference in the way older women cry and grieve and the way in which a kid cries.
Anandi has every right to grieve, fell guilty and feel like cursing herself, but being so bottled up to the point of falling sick so much so that the whole family has to attend to you...is leading nowhere.
[In fact, even when her mother was shocked and tried to leave when A said things to her, A should have run behind her mother even outside the main gate of the haveli, begging for forgiveness and requesting her mother not to take her impulsive statements to heart...Instead she kept standing at the door and fell down crying... :( ]
I know she is in pain...but the way she reacts or fails to react at the right time or does not react proactively, she is only increasing her pain manifold...
