First of all, comments about few good parts. Radhika's mesmerized look at Dev and he looking at her back with love and tenderness while she was hugging Barkha was beautiful. Also his mesmerized look at her when she came out dressed in shagun clothes and then his compliment to her in privacy.
Maheswari's scene was good too as she did feel concern that her son was working like a servant. So she did end up bringing food for him even though she bungled that up too. Liked Mohini, Maheswari and Virat's scene without Barkha this time. So Maheswari is now going to her next plot of getting rid of her servant status while Virat is angry at her for spoiling everything for him. His anger is not because of this tussle between Maheswari and Mohini, but because Maheswari ruined his life. Mohini and Maheswari are at war with each other. These three have good chemistry among them.
Now except for Dev and Radhika's expressions, everything else was just nuisance. Barkha was dominating the entire conversation. So she went to the room to get Radhika dressed (should have asked Chanda too to accompany them too regardless of Chanda's feelings as Chanda is the sister) and basically took over the Mansa household. Then she again acted as an intermediary in asking for a date for Dev and Radhika. Dev could have done it on his own by asking Dadaji to speak up for him which eventually he did anyway. Barkha was not needed in that conversation at all.
The worst part was all the hints that chunnu munnu threw at us. So will the wedding in the ME (Janamastmi) be between Dev and Barkha? Shanti gave the first hint when she told Chanda that Radhika is not Rukmini. So this implies that Radhika would remain a lover and a hidden wife (in eyes of society) of Dev whereas Barkha would be Rukmini. Then Barkha gave Radhika her earrings and told her that they share everything. So earrings for Radhika from Barkha in exchange for Dev to Barkha from Radhika? Chunnu munnu, don't even bring down Radhika's character like this. Your ratings would go down the tube.
Then, Dadaji talking to Barkha that he has to find a groom for her and find a way to make her stay at PB. Finally, Barkha calling herself a gift in lives of Dev and Radhika as she is present in their lives.
Since the society is unaware of this engagement for now and thinks of Radhika as Rohan's wife, the objections would come. Will Dadaji cave in and ask Radhika for the sacrifice the way he did ask Chaya? Then will Radhika give up Dev for his own good and ask Barkha to take her place on Janamastmi. They better not show it this way. Radhika shares everything with Dev and would never do anything underhanded to him even if she wants it for his good. So she wouldn't do this to Dev. Barkha is a friend who protects Radhika's rights and should not be agreeing to Radhika no matter what the reasons are. Dev and Radhika have to be different from Hari and Chaya who would fight for their own rights and will not do a wrong thing. Hari's actions spoilt several lives ' Chaya, Dev, Padma where the most injustice was done to Dev. Dev and Radhika cannot repeat the history this way.
Also viewers would be turned off if they show this wedding on Janamastmi day. How can Kanha endorse his devotee to suffer like that on his day? But then these chunnu munnu ruined CB1 by burning Radhika and letting Vishaka and Amma go scot-free for all their crimes. That time too none of us believed that they would go really show that track.
Anyway, to end on a good note:
Precap: It was cute between Dev and Radhika. Bholu shyly bringing out the poem he wrote for Phullu. Hopefully, we will have a Barkha free episode.
Acting wise: Not much scope for anybody as it was a filler episode with hints for the coming track (hints were offputting though). But Rubina with her expressions was very good. Avinash didn't have much scope today, but he performed well with expressions and one dialogue that he was given. Again, his wardrobe is questionable. Now that he is heir to the vast property, can't they give him some nice clothes for his own "roka" ceremony rather than a shirt that has been repeated 20 times in the show so far.
