Written Update 1st August

Kaveri is trying to contact Kailash, Laxmi's dad, but is informed that he has gone somewhere on some urgent errand. Just then, Angad comes there. He tells Kaveri that this marriage is not correct. Kaveri is saddened that Angad too views Mahen in the same light as rest of the world.Angad refutes the thought. Kaveri tells him to look beyond Mahen's mental condition...then he will notice how much Mahen cares for Laxmi & reminds him that they are real good friends too. Angad says he is aware of the friendship, but this alliance will not convert into a happy marriage. He asks her to be practical. She carries on justifying her decision. Angad holds up a mirror & tells her she is just trying to solve 2 problems with 1 solution, being emotional, but she is just not being fair to Laxmi. He goes on to tell her that she is playing with Laxmi's happiness. Kaveri drops the bombshell that Laxmi has agreed to this marriage herself. He is shocked that how could Laxmi give such a big sacrifice.

He goes to talk to her. He goes to her room. She isnt there. He sees her somewhere else & drags her to her room. He blasts her for saying yes to Mahen. When she doesnt answer, he asks her to speak up. She says she wanted this marriage. Angad tells her not to lie..that she surrendered under Kaveri's pressure, but this is about her life! He says that he knew that Laxmi who was courageous enough to divorce Suraj, to move ahead in life, get married, but this is a weak Laxmi...he reminds her that she will never b happy in this marriage. Laxmi doesnt utter a word. He is exasperated. He explains that he respects Mahen & Kaveri, but the fact that Mahen is autistic is true, & there is no need for her to sacrifice, especially when he is fighting for her! (duh!!! wish u knew how much she wants u to be her knight in shining armour...but u just lecture Angad ji!!! u r talks...but leave the action for others!!! if u r so concerned, y dont u marry her instead, or at least show some interest in her???!!!!!) Laxmi tells him that she has taken the decision after a lot of consideration, & under no pressure whatsoever. She is willing to spend the rest of her life with Mahen the way he is & when she has accepted it, then she says no one should have a problem with it, not even him. He is angry. She says that i respect your feelings, but stop interfering in my decisions, in my life!!!wuhooo!! way to go girl...tell him!!! Angad says he can see through her anger & says he will not stop interefering!😲 Laxmi says do what you want, but i will go through this marriage. Angad is shocked & walks away.

Laxmi breaks down in front of God. Mahen comes & she quickly wipes away her tears. He comes with a Ganeshji's idol for her. He says that before one embarks on any auspicious task, they should remember Ganpati bappa...so he got this gift for her as they are going to get married soon. She doesnt say anything. He interprets it as her being embarrassed. He says he'll leave, or he'll get embarrassed too😊 (He does have a calming effect yaar!!) Laxmi touches the idol to her forehead.

Next morning, Dadaji, Dadi & Vijay are talking about how good it is that this alliance has got fixed. They are planning all the arrangements. Vijay is super excited. Kaveri says that Kailash needs to be informed before starting off these preparations. Laxmi comes there & they question her whether she got in touch with her dad(what the??? She took a big decision & didnt feel the need to inform her dad???!!!) She says she hasnt spoken to him as yet. Mahen from upstairs givrs suggestion as to who will be able to locate Kailash for them. All praise Mahen. Shobna just returns from outside. On enquiring, Shobna says there are much more things to life apart from this impending marriage. Dadi tells her off. Angad comes & Laxmi-Angad have a stare off. Dadi calls him to help in preparations. Vijay excitedly says lets distribute the tasks. Shobna pulls him aside & tells him how come he is happy when the POA will then land with Harsukh's family. Vijay warns her not to create trouble in this marriage as he loves Harsukh's kids as much as Angad & he is capable of handling the POA on his own.(ok...so he has his heart in the rite place!!! phew!!) He asks her to join the celebrations. Just then Kailash comes. He says there will be no celebrations! He says that the alliance which was not acceptable to him earlier, is still not acceptable to him. He further says that he is disappointed in Kaveri & thanks Shobna for making him aware of the truth. He says he has come to take Laxmi with him. Everyone is shocked. Tej & Shobna are happy.

Precap: Tej is telling Mahen about the reality of marriage. He says that every girl dreams of having babies, will you be able to fulfil that need of Laxmi??🤢

Dont jump the guns...precap se lagta hai, abhi tak woh pt aaya nahi hai!!we'll send Shobna to coma soon...but 4 now...she'll have to live & annoy all of us!
