I sure don't look at it! I know what you mean though lol! I was a crazy fan of srk and Hrithik...never thought id love anyone else...but Gurmeet came along...and I pay more attention to him now, I go gaga over him, and just plain crazy when I see him anywhere...i still like Hrithik...Srk has died down on me...idk! That is the magic of Gurmeet, now the only one person id want to meet him personally would be Gurmeet!!:D Even Drashti ...I adore her.shez one heck of a beautiful girl, one of my fave actresses( I dont really have fave actresses) !!! I mean nowadays Bollywood isnt as it used to be...so that's another reason iv stuck to serials only like these...it has the indian touch still!:)

For me this show has really taken the place of romantic movies that I used to watch religiously. Of course I love the classics, DDLJ, KKHH, HDDCS etc but I even loved the time when we got movies like HumTum and Salaam Namaste. But the last really good romance I saw in the movies, that actually touched me and made me want to watch it over and over was Jodhaa Akbar, which, let's face it, was a looong time ago. Movies these days are not at all sincere, they are all action, slapstick comedy or a satire of something or the other.

Geet really has that charm of older Hindi movies, that sincerity, and that hope love that is at the same time pure and wholesome, but passionate and soul-stirring. The dialogues, which if you think about them out of context are a bit corny, crazy and dramatic, by turns, but while watching them you are totally involved and buying every word. It also makes it wonderful that I can get a daily dose of it instead of just a one-time 3 hour installment!

Same here!! The first thing I do when I come on IF is look for any news/videos regarding GHSP and then straight to Geet Forum...after that this is where I stay...lol..Its my second home now!

Geet has really taken over ma life...don't watch that much bollywood movies anymore...although I do try to keep up with other fav shows...such as The Vampire Diaries, Gossip Girl, Teen Wolf and etc...

VERY true!! Same way with me...DDLJ,KKHH, K3G(still luv that movie),Kal ho na ho, and many of those older srk, hrithik, aish, preity eras. Yh last movie I loved was JOdha Akhbar...the indian touch was still there and Ghajni..it was so sweet!..and the romance was what our usual BOllywood is...we didn't need to show them lip locking or what to not show their in love! I just hope serials keep their touch too...even though there have been those americanized shows...but whatever. LONG LIVE GEET lol!!!

I couldn't agree with you more! Yesterday I saw Kaho Na Pyar Hai...and the first thing I said to my mom is that Hrithik really looks like GC in this movie...and she's like you mean GC looks like Hrithik...and I was no...other way around!😆

BW magic has died down for me too...and I agree with you! The actresses don't appeal to me as much as DD does. I loved Karishma, Madhuri, Juhi, and Sri Devi and been a huge Aishwarya fan since 1999, but now it's DD all the way!

And there was a time when I used to re-watch SRK movies and quote his dialouges...but now I find myself re-visiting MSK dialouges! How time changes!
