25th July: Written Update

Sejal comes in the room all annoyed. She recollects Sameer's words about how Leela doesn't believe in punishing but explaining & that she takes care of all problems in the house. She then remembers how Leela asked her to go to Ba to accept her mistake. Sameer comes in all happy that his mom has cooked Undhiyu . He smelt it in the air …(gosh he should have been a chef…he could tell that his mom had prepared Undhiyu, just by smelling garlic & garam masala??!!) He then sweetly says that his dad gets gajra for his mom everyday, so he got a rose for Sejal. Sejal is angry & goes to the other side of the bed. Sameer asks her the reason, but when she is still quiet, says that since he was at work, she should have gone to his mom. She blames Leela for the stress. She tells him about the whole saree incident. She then says that if ma wanted she could have taken care of this incident like Koyal's case, but Sameer sides with his mom. He further says that Sejal should have spoken to Ba instead & that he is disappointed in her.

Leela is preparing the bedroom to sleep, when MS gets milk & apples. She says that it was part of her duty, but MS says that if he got it once, how does it matter? Leela is still pondering over Sejal's mistake. MS says don't think about it as it robs you of your smile. He says he came to know only since the tea she gave to him in the evening was not same as always. Leela says that for the first time, the peace of the house was threatened. She has now realized how right Ba was when she mentioned that being a mother-in-law is not an easy task. MS the loverboy, continues to praise her, but Leela is in a reflective mode. MS reminds him that outside the room she might be anything, but within the room she is only his wife. She prays that everything settles down. MS assures her that once the kids go on their honeymoon, they'll forget these trivial issues. Leela enquires what is he going to gift them when he goes for cheda-chedi.(sorry..not aware of this ritual)MS leaves it to her & instead wishes to go on a honeymoon again!!They have a cute moment.

Next morning, Koyal is packing when Harsh wakes up & asks whether she went for shopping so early? Koyal rebukes him & says she did it last nite, but just got the bags now & is packing. He asks y? She says for her honeymoon & is super excited about it. Even gets a sleepy Harsh to get up & help her pack. He is shocked to know that Koyal intends to wear short tops in their honeymoon. She asks him not to worry since no one from home will come to Europe to see what she is wearing, & tells him not to enlighten his mom about it. Harsh wants to argue further but she sends him off to get ready for office & asks him to leave honeymoon preparations to her. She then realises that the skirts bag is missing.

Downstairs, Savita sees it & remembers seeing something similar in Koyal's hands. She takes is but bumps into Sejal. Sejal asks her to watch her steps, when Savita says that she was in a rush as there is a lot of work at home today. Sejal sees a skirt which must have popped out, & is shocked to see how short it is. She sends Savita off, saying she will give the bag to Koyal herself. Sejal gets the bag to Leela's room & says she found the bag outside. She also says it belongs to Koyal. Leela says then give it to her…but continues going through the stuff in the bag.typical Saas!!😉 She doesn't react as per Sejal's expectations & actually calls the clothes cute! 😲😆Sejal says aren't the clothes short, but Leela explains that Koyal is only going to wear them in her honeymoon. She in fact says that her hubby (MS) got jeans for her during their honeymoon. Sejal is shocked. Leela says no problem in moving with times, as long as one doesn't forget their values & principles. Sejal is disappointed. Leela tells her that if she wants to shop before leaving for her honeymoon, she may do so & she may also buy any modern clothes. Sejal is happy.

She goes to her room where Sameer is a bit busy. She nervously asks him to get her a jeans-tshirt in the evening. Sameer is shocked. On asking, she says that when Koyal can wear short clothes in her honeymoon, cant she wear jeans, t-shirt? Sameer starts mentally calculating the costs & asks her to borrow from Koyal. 😆 Sejal refuses & gets upset. Sameer notices it & then agrees to her request, since she asked something of him for the first time.

At night, Koyal is going through all the magazines in the hall, looking for 1 particular one. She enlists Savita's help too. An impatient Sejal comes & looks at the clock. Savita pulls her leg a bit about waiting for Sameer while Koyal is irritated & watches the scene. Savita finally lets on that Sameer came 5 mins back & has gone to the room. Sejal rushes away, while Koyal is curious about Sejal's excitement. Sejal rummages Sameer's stuff looking for jeans/tshirt. Sameer comes from behind & asks what was she looking for? She says for her honeymoon's happiness. He says that's in front of her, not in her bag. He meant himself...😉 Then he asks her to put his watch & wallet in the almirah. She puts them away & notices a gift…excitedly she asks what is it? He says her honeymoon's happiness.aww…cho chweet!!They open the gift & its jeans & t-shirt. He asks whether she is happy, of course she is!!!
