Epi begins with Kaveri telling Dada Dadi about selecting Mahen for Laxmi. Dadaji reminds her that she had considered Laxmi to be her daughter & stopped her from going to Dharigram. He questions whether her love for Mahen has made her selfish. She acknowledges that it looks as if she is being selfish but she goes onto convince them that she is only thinking about Laxmi. Her pts: Who cares most about Laxmi in this house?Who keeps encouraging her? Who took up the task of teaching her? Who is most affected when she is in pain? My ans: Angad as per current track!!😆 She says that Mahen has all the qualities of a good husband. Dadi says but looking at Mahen's condition, wont she(Laxmi) feel you have cheated her? Kaveri brings the pandit angle & says that it has been predicted that Mahen will get married soon & his mental condition will improve after marriage(ok...so AD wanted to leave & CT might have stopped him giving the lead role???even the montage has changed to show Laxmi with Mahen!!who knows whats going on here???super confused now!😕) Dadi says that the world will humiliate them, but they know their kids better than others. She agrees to the alliance but says that Mahen-Laxmi should be ready for it too & they should only proceed with their agreement. Dadaji is not sure if this is correct, but Kaveri assures him that she is Laxmi's well wisher & they will not get a better home than theirs for Laxmi. Dadaji says he is not convinced, but will agree. Only condition, Laxmi & Mahen should not be pressurized to marry. Kaveri decides to go and talk to Laxmi but Dadaji stops her saying how will she say no to u (spot on!!👏) What if Mahen says no? Then Laxmi will be heartbroken. He asks her to talk to Mahen first.
Mahen is marking something in a book. Kaveri goes there and enquires what is he doing. He answers that he is setting the exam paper for Laxmi. She asks whether he likes Laxmi. He agrees. She keeps asking leading questions & he keeps demonstrating how much he cares for Laxmi. Kaveri says that she doesn't want Laxmi to go away. Mahen says that its not possible, as she will accompany her future husband. Kaveri says if she marries someone in this house, she can continue staying here. Mahen is confused. Kaveri says that she wants Laxmi to stay in this house, does Mahen want it too? He nods. She asks him to marry Laxmi. He starts convulsing & gets mad at her for even thinking about his marriage. He says he is not fit for Laxmi. Kaveri tells him never to think like that he is not fit for marriage...but Mahen is v upset.
Laxmi goes to Angad's room with lep. He is sleeping. She keeps the lep & starts leaving, but is stopped. Her dupatta is stuck in the wedge between side table & bed. She pulls it out but before she can leave, Angad gets up & questions her presence...she says tit for tat...😛didn't u come to my room when I was sleeping??? Naah!she does do that..😆..she is all flustered & points to the lep. He teases her but then thanks her. He says that she should have at least announced her entry, bechare ko darr jo lag gaya.😆 Before she can leave, he says that he always gets involved in teasing her & forgets to mention that she is a nice girl. He likes her. 😲They wish each other good nite. She goes out of the room & chudail ma is waiting!!😡 Shobna takes her to another room & gets her to close the door. Shobna says that whatever she said earlier was bitter truth even though it might have hurt Laxmi. Laxmi starts saying but Shobna says I'm not interested in your reasoning. She continues that even though u may not realize, I know, bcoz I am Angad's mom. She blames Laxmi for manipulating Angad's time & mind. (duh!! Now Laxmi will think Angad likes her like "that"'!!!confusion hi confusion create karo Shobna!!) Shobna is jealous & also annoyed that Angad is back answering her becoz of Laxmi. She continues saying that she doesn't mind him helping her, really??whats this bhashan about then?? 😛but not at his own cost. She puts it to Laxmi that even you wouldn't want to wish him bad? Shobna says I don't like you,😲 but I do agree that you are intelligent & you wont want to spoil someone else's life. 🥱She wants Laxmi to understand that Angad is wasting his future just in order to help her & wants her to finish the whole thing in her way & let Angad move forward in his life. She then sends Laxmi away but then remembers something. She stops Laxmi at the door & asks her to take her advice seriously as she is dead serious about Angad.

Precap: Mahen is pouring stuff on his head, & Kaveri is asking what is he upto? Laxmi is really worried & says that whatever the thing is, if u don't want to tell me, tell Ma & I will leave the room.Mahen stops her & says you want to know why I am behaving like this? Ma wants me to marry you. Kaveri turns her head towards Laxmi,who looks at her with a shocked expression.
