a mother's punishment

I just read on yahoo hnews that a mother from atlanta is being sentenced to almost 3 yrs of jail time for jaywalking which led to death of her 4 year son. though it was an accident the negligence of a mother for just a second is punished. so what punishment shud taps get for leaving a new born baby with some stranger on a stormy night for full one hour. and later agreeing to take medicines and go to sleep.

These CVS are crazy people to write and execute such illogical story

Isnt there some sort of moral etiquette or law that you have to report a baby you find on the streets and not just take it along with you like its yours? Hasnt Ichha once thought about the fact that maybe the baby's mother and father is looking for the baby?

Some people have no other work but find fault in everyone except Tapasya, recently the rapist Rathod has been added to their favorites list! Lage raho munna bhai :-)

Ichha surely is heartless to rescue a newborn from the cold and rain and hunger compared to the babys own mother who had left her with an unknown stranger person to find if she would not have to come on the streets again. Alas...it might have been better for Ichcha had she not found the child and it died due to her moms negligent behavior

At least Ichcha would have been off the hook and Tapasya still would have learnt the lesson. But it's better now that the child is safe with her chhoti Ma or massi.

First of all i am not a fan or even supporter of any of the characters in this serial. never watch this serial just surf thro some of the posts in the forum.

Now coming to the topic, in the above incident the jury and the law makers r trying to send a message that a mother's responsibilty for her child is above everything in this world. no moral etiquette, or concience or any damn excuse can come even close to the responsibility of a mother. During the initial days what the baby needs is his/her mother every min, even fathers r the 2nd option, then baby sitters or orphanage employees r out of question. no mother in this world wud leave a 2 day old baby with a babysitter then how can tapasya think of leaving her baby with a stranger on a stormy night. 2morrow if the child comes to know the truth she will not ask icha why she saved her but her complaint will be against her owm mother her own flesh blood who left her for an hour in the middle of the night.

Finally yes iccha is als wrong here, no matter what her intentions r she shud have reported about the baby . but that dosent make tapasya's crime any less, rather she is more at fault

well said!!👏👏icchha can b called dumb but not lacking sum moral etiquette or law!! and no law can quesn icchha that why she saved the baby & didn't hand over the baby 2 the police which very sadly in india is not known 4 its compassion!! and i rem one news abt a dr who just like icchha adopted the gal child who was found at the hospital premises &abondoned by her parents esply by mother 4 the fear of getting scolded 4 having twin daughters! the dr was christain & gal child was of sikh parents. but later on 4 the marriage of gal child her biological parents came & objected her 4 marrying a christain as shes biologicaly'd sikh parents & claimed they've right over her( i don't rem how biolgl parents came 2 know her as their abondoned child but sumhow they came 2 know & proved also). but no1 quesnd that dr abt not informing the police & adopting her not even any court of law in India!!instead parents were quesned abt it & scolded by all!!👏and wen a dr whos well informed atleast better than icchha didn't report & wasn't quesned 4 not going 2 police then why icchha is being quesned??😕and Dr 'd already 2 daughters of her!!😊

Honestly thats beside the point. Im asking how can Ichha be so sure that the mother purposely left her baby there and just take it with her? Shouldnt she THINK that maybe the parents might be looking for the child?

Very good 👏 👏 leave ur child to the mercy of a stranger and thn chk and judge the responsibility of others towards a 2 days kids 😆 😆 😆

wat type of parents leave the baby in the shed & go 4 anything!!😕😕 even if i find such a kid i wud defntly think that sum1 has abondoned the kid & that 2 on such a stormy rainy night & no1 at that place was gving attention 2 the kid!! so any1 can assume its abondoned. atleast normal human being's thinking is like this only but if sum1 got sum spl powers then i don't know abt it!!😉😆😆
