About Uttara Devyani was observing and is worried also about her safety.
I assume that Devyani will take things in her to hands and want to deal with it in a cautious way.

For Uttara, yes, she IS worried, but thats not enough. When SSP took Uttara in the room, it was Priya who saved her. Devyani came in much later.
And I feel Devyani is too weak (atleast now) to take matters in her hands..

If being brain-dead and a moron, to say nothing about having zero self respect, is equivalent to being mahaan - then Devyaani is mahaan - a Mahaan IDIOT of the first order. Ok I absolve Devyaani from the charge of having no self-respect - she has nothing in her character to deserve respect either from herself or others. Even an uneducated girl from a poor village family like Vidya understands the meaning of the term and can stand up for herself and her rights, but not Devyaani. The sooner the woman is shot dead by the SSP and/or sent to the mental asylum by her DILs the better it would be for all concerned.

There are women who live their own lives and the husbands live their own life. Except they share the same roof. And no they are not battered or driven to suicide or killed by their in-laws. Not only in India but it happens all over the world.
