Hello dear Maneetians...

I am a silent member of this forum ...I was planning to write a FF on Maneet since a long timeand finally I am starting one...so without wasting any more time ...Here I go

Dil ka Rista

Love is a feeling which always connects two people and the most beautiful dream of life but what if its one sided and the thing you get is a tag of good friend...Most probably we try to run away from him and our past but what if that past comesback to youin your life after a long gap and you are already engaged to someone ...

Here Maneet will face the same situation and this story is as journey of two friends Maan and Geet who have not seen each other since six years butone day they meet and after that what will happen for that you need to stay tuned to My first Maneet FF

Maan Singh Khurana

Maan is the man of principles ...He is 28 years old confident, arrogant,stylish and the owner of a successful construction company...for him works come first then anything else

He loves his family especially his five year old daughter who is his world...After his wife Sameera died leaving a sweet little angel in his arms ...he became workholic though he loves his daughter but gets very less time for her...When he looks back he finds how much he changed in these six years...Six years back he was a handsome college going guy who was a flirt and was having only one good friend Geet handa...but she left the college one day without giving any proper reason ...he still wonders what could be the reason of her leaving and what could be the meaning of those tears which had come in her eyes while he was trying to stop her from going...would Maan ever come to know the meaning of those tears??

Geet Handa

Geet handa ...26 years old an independent working woman...She is sweet ,lovely and sophisticated person...She always gives love and family first place still nursing a wound of her past when she had fell in love with her best buddy and when was about to confess ...she came to know Maan his best friend and her first love loves Sameera her good friend...She kept quiet but was not able to bear the pain and finally took a decision to leave the college...She completed her further studies in Delhi and now she is in search for a job .She is engaged to her childhood friend Sid for the sake of her mother ...She wonders will she ever be able to give Sid the same love which she had once felt for maan

Chahak

Five year old princess of khurana mansion...Word from her mouth should be fullfilled at once...A sweet child under the guidance of her badi Daadi but sometimes get stubborn ...she wants her papa to be with her like her friends papa...who always feels alone and this made her introvert ...always prays to God to return her mom

Savitri Devi

Daadi ma of Maan Singh Khurana...for her nothing can be more important than family...She is an old gentle lady who wants her grandson Maan to get married again as she caanot see him fighting with life under the veil of arrogance and strictness ...her more time spends with her great granddaughter whom she tells one day her mother will return coz she knows its the only way to make that lil girl happy and somewhere her faith always gives a hope to savitri devi herself

Siddhant

28 years old...he is a doctor who is sweet,sober,cool,and humourous...who loved Geet since childhood but always found a distance between them...He had waited for long to have geet in his life and the day when she accepted his proposal of marriage ...He was really happy but still he could not see the love for him in Geet's eyes ...Will Sid ever be able to make Geet feel what he feels for her

Ch-1

It was a big room occupied with every comfort...A little girl was sleeping on bed ...suddenly she wakes up on hearing the sound of car's engine coming from parking area...

" I got late ...Papa would have left for office"Chahak jumped from bed and headed outside...She reached to badi daadi breathlessly..Savitri devi who was busy in instructing Nakul wished Chahak on seeing her"Happy Birthday Beta"

Chahak turned her face"I don't wanna talk to you"

Daadi asked keeping hand on her shoulder"And What's my crime?"

Chahak turned to nakul"Nakul uncle ask Badi dadi why she didn't give me the gift I had asked for"

Daadi kept hands on her ears "Sorry..beta aap to jaanti hain apne papa ko ...he had important meeting in office..Forget that you know your Papa has planned to throw a big party for his Chahak and her friends"

Chahak's sad face blossomed with happiness for a moment"Sach badi daadi but like last time this time also he would come after party will get over"

Daadi tried to console her"He has promised this time he will come on time ...now hurry up...get ready we will go for shopping"

Scene changes to a Gurudwara where geet is praying

"Babaji iss baar koi panga mat karwana please this time I should get the job" Sid came there and stood beside her"Baccha ..leave this job's chakkar just pack your bag and land to Sid's house after taking saat pheras with her"

Geet opened her eyes and with a smile"Sid what's the hurry..I am not running anywhere I am yours only na"

She headed outside

Sid followed her "Mam i am afraid you will fly away ..thats why see your slave always runs after you...Geet I cannot live without you...And that pandit has said that we cannot marry this year"

Geet answered back softly "Sid you are my good friend first then my fiance...I know you love me and have waited so long for me "

Sid snapped in between"And You...always I wanted to see love in youe eyes but I see pain in your eyes hearing name of love"

"Love gives nothing but pain and only pain ...Whomever you love that person will leave you...I loved you Sam you left me alone ...Why? ...Geet also left me don't know why.I always miss her,she was my only friend on whose shoulder I could have kept my head and cried.."On other side Maan was talking with Sam's picture when daadima's call came and she informed him that Chahak was very angry and this time at any cost he needed to reach at party before time...Maan called his secretary Pinky to cancel all meetings after three and again started looking at the smiling picture of Sam ...
