Geet was spending two hours with Chahak after coming from office but since last week she not for once got a chance to meet Maan...Geet was sitting in hall of KM with Chahak but her eyes were in search of someone..Daadi understood Geet's eyes were searching Maan...
Daadi directly asked"maan ko dhhond rahi hain Geet"
Geet felt as if someone caught her red handed "Um..I havenot seen him since a week..has he gone somewhere?"
Daadima got lilttle tensed which Geet witnessed in her voice"Kya batayein Aapko Geet beta...He comes late at night from Office and early morning leaves for odfice...Just for namesake he lives in house otherwise his wholetime passes in work and only work.."
Geet was surprised with this new information"Really..no I mean that Maan who was hating to make notes and attending calasses who was known as lazy bone in friends circle though he was always passing from first grade that Maan has indulged himself so deeply in work that he remains in office even after office hours..I am really amazed"
Daadi looked at the picture of Sam which was hanging on wall"Geet after Sameera left us Maan would have killed himself but he is living just because of Chahak the only hope of his life..but in true words his body is living ...his soul died after Sameera's death ,he engrossed himself in work"
Geet could feel the pain of a lady who was watching her grandson moving further towards darkness everyday aloof from life without any hope but only pain"Don't worry Daadima everything will be fine"
Daadi smiled sadly "Six years Geet..since six years I am waiting for the day when everything will be fine..but see my luck the day passes but nothing gets fine"
Geet consoled daadi"I will help you Daadi...I have a plan just you make sure Maan should present in house when I will come.."She tells her plan
Daadi was confuse"Are you sure coz Maan has no sentiments when it comes to work"
Geet replied confidently"You leave that on me..he is the same just lil dust has gone in his head..I make sure he will be back to his self"
Daadi sighed"I cannot understand both of you so just go on"
Geet to herself"Derkhte hain kab tak Khadoos bana rahega"
Next day Geet entered KM sobbing
Daadi asked with concern "What happened beta... are you fine"
Geet wiping her tears"Nothing daadima..I am fine"
Maan came down and saw Geet crying..he asked"Geet what happened?"
Geet sobbing"Nothing"
Daadi said"Maan see she is not saying anything and on asking says she is fine"
Maan"Daadi if she does not want to say then why are you forcing her"
Geet "If you all are insisting then I should share na"
Maan"No need Geet"
Daadi scolded"Maan keep quiet..Geet you tell beta"
Geet"I have got pink slip in my office today..they said I will have to leave the job temporarily they will do something soon"
Maan was felt Geet is lying"Bad joke Geet.."
Geet crying loudly"I lost my job and you saying I ma joking..You don't believe na talk to my boss.."She hands him her phone dialing her office number from other side a gentle voice of a woman caomes"Hello.."
Maan asks"Am I talking to Mrs.Gomez "
Frrom other side"yeah..this is Geet's number..who are you?"
Maan" Um I wanted to know Geet told she has been removed from job ..Is that true?"
Mrs.Gomez"Um not exactly..its temporary"
Maan" thanks fo the information"

Geet glaring at Maan"Ab viswaas hua ya judge se likhwa ke laun"
Daadi"Maan enough..Geet is doing this much for us and you are making fun of her problem"
Msaan snapped"But Daadima"
Daadi"Shut up Maan..apologize first"
Maan"Soory Geet"
Geet "No problem Maan ..You are rich na you won't understand the pain of a middleclass dukhiyaari girl"
Maan sarcastically"How can I understand the pain of a girl who is the daughter of late Mr.Handa who has left a lot of money for her daughter and she can live without working for whole life with her mom"
Geet shot back in angry tone"huh don't you know I have sworn I won't touch a penny of that man who hurted my mother so much..I am independent and alone Maan..mom cannot leave that family and I cannot live in that family"
Maan looked apologized and cursed himself for his bitter tongue"Soory Geet if you want you can work in my office as my secretary ..this is the only post vacant in office for time being"

Maan smiled"Geet I know you are eligible for this post ...You can join office from tomorrow..Adi will give you your appointment letter tomorrow in office"
Geet smiled back"Thanks Maan"
Maan "Daadi where is Pandit ji..I have an important meeting"
Daadi"Oh I Forgot he wont come today..you can go"
Maan"thanks a lot"..He left
Daadi laughed"Geet beta you are really a nice actor..now first step is completed"
Geet "Daadi its just a start.."
Geet calles Mrs.Gomez"Thanks Crisrti.."
Cristi"Anytime Geet but make sure your leave has been approved for just one month not a single day more"
Geet"Yes boss"Both of them laughed
Chahak who witnessing everything asked"What happened BD..Geet aunty was crying and now she is laughing"
Geet cuddled Chahak in her arms"Beta it's a game if I will win then I will be able to gift you most desired wish"
Chahak excitedly"Mom will come back"
Geet ruffling her hair"No dear your dad will come back"
Chahak looked at her confused
Daadi asked"Geet can you do me a favour"

Daadi hesitantly"I have to go for Jagran and Chahak will be alone..servants are there but have never left her alone if you can live here tonight..I won't force you"
Geet"But daadi"
Chahak requested"Please Geet aunty"
Geet smiled ..she has to accept she was really attached to Chahak in these few weeks"Ok"
