Kareena Kapoor's wax statue as Chameli

Kareena Kapoor's wax statue at London's Madame Tussauds museum will have the actress in her Chameli look.

Says a source close to Bebo, "Several looks were discussed, but the maximum number of votes went to Kareena's look in Chameli, for which she won many awards. Also, as it's an international forum, they wanted her in Indian wear. Chameli was a turning point in her career and she was appreciated by both critics as well as fans. It was after her performance in Chameli that the actress was appreciated as a talented star."

The source adds, "The museum officials have taken her measurements and have been working on her statue. Kareena has lots of Indian fans in London, and she will be going there to inaugurate her wax statue in October." Her look in Chameli was designed by Manish Malhotra and executive producer Rangita Nandy, who scoured the streets of Mumbai to get the look of a sex worker down pat. "Manish will most probably put together the Tussauds look too," says the source.

I think this is a bad idea. Have her look like a hooker as a statue. And plus not a lot of people have seen Chameli. Her JWM look is more famous. IF they are talking about awards than she is also got it for JWM. So why not pick JWM? Bad decision. What do u guys think?

I was going for either JWM or Chameli. But i agree, JWM would have been better.

I watched Chameli, she acted better than most of her other films . Nice choice, but I agree, having yourself look like a hooker is strange.

Yeah she looked like a clown in Chameli. Over the top make up. And bad hair.
