Hai, you asked for baby pics, Oh my.. I can write so much, but for the pics insertion... i can say, will try ...may take two more days... expected few more responses, but i know what to write all the time, right?.. :) :) .. because i also fall in tha pit sometimes.

The shade of fresh morning brought a serene glow to Radhika's face, which deepen the fair complexion of her skin. Her partially curly hair was open and was unevenly fallen to the front over her left shoulder. The white fabric material of the hospital covered her body upto her chest. She wished to sit and tried to move her leg, but she was unable to feel that sensation. She looked at her leg that was covered under the white sheet, she felt uneasy, and she thought to call Dev, she raised her face to call him up, but then the smile on his lips from his side profile, looking at their little one, again made her to get lost in that moment.

Suchi was coming out from the washroom, drying her hands on the towel. She saw Radhika's gaze, she looked over and found Dev with the baby, the sky was clear and the white soft thickness were floating around with its slow pace. Smiling at her son's posture, she went near Dev

Suchi: Dev, what is this? I thought you will show the baby to Radhika when she gets up, but instead you are holding her. Remember what the nurse told, forgot so soon?. now give the baby in my hand, I will take care.

Dev: no mom, she is sleeping, so I thought

Suchi: ha, she is sleeping, and she won't open her eyes if you hold her like this. She needs to be fed, Now Radhika is awake, go call the nurse, ok.

Dev unwillingly gave the baby in Suchi's hand and then looked at Radhika, and found her loving eyes on him. He skipped a heart beat. He walked near to her, and sitting by the upper edge of that bed, he leaned over and placed a soft kiss over her forehead. His hand slide down near her ears, threading between her open hairs. Radhika tried to give a smile.

His eyes just lingered over her face, seeing her smile, seeing her sparkling eyes.

Dev in a husky voice : I love you Radhika

And he gulped seeing her further stretch of lips corner.

After a pause,Radhika mumbled: me too

Suddenly Suchi: Dev, you are still here, call the nurse, or you hold the baby, I will only go and call the nurse, ok.

Dev getting up from bed: no mom, I can do that

Suchi smiled seeing his walk away, looking back at Radhika.

Suchi brought the little one near Radhika: she looks like Dev only,

Radhika smiled and tried to look at the little ones face

Suchi looking at Radhika: you know what, Dev was looking exactly the same, the same big long eyes, see the forehead, and the nose too. Look at the hair Radhika, moving the towel slightly back, how thick, when he born he had the same thickness too.

Radhika just smiled listening to suchi's talk and she brought her right hand up to touch her baby's head.

By the time the nurse came in. She checked Radhika and asked few questions and then

The nurse: Dev, can you help me to get her to the bathroom.

Dev: ji

Radhika felt some relief, as she was unable to get that full feel of her leg.

Soon the nurse 's hand moved the sheet and held Radhika in such a way that she was able to sit better, and then slowly moved her feet to the side and swing that from the bed edge. She felt better.

Dev stand by, but then the nurse asked him to hold her , Radhika tried to stand, and she did that easily and feeling the freedom, she took that first step quickly as Dev lighten his hold on her. She almost fell to his side but the nurse held her tight.

As a reflex Dev held her tight,: you ok

Nurse: that is why I told to hold her, she might not be feeling that complete control,

Radhika was safely walked into the bathroom with the help, as Suchi tried to check more on her grandkid.

Nurse gave some instrution and went.

Dev sat with his mom.

Suchi: Dev, she just looks like you only. Same eyes, same nose.

Dev: really mom

Suchi: um

Dev: she is beautiful right.

Suchi: any doubt. She looks like a beautiful princess.

Dev smiled wide with pride. He tried to hold onto those tiny fingers, and noticed those long soft nails.

Dev: mom, she already has long nails

Suchi: ha I noticed it too, we need to clip it short, or she may scratch her face.

Dev: no mom,how can you even think about it, it may hurt.

Suchi just smiled.: go see whether Radhika need any help or not

Dev got up and went to the washroom.

Time ticked by, Radhika felt so much better after washing her face, and she just washed her neck and arms very well. Dev helped her to dry it well, and throwed the towel away.

Radhika was holding onto the countertop for support giving all the weight on her arms, and she knew if she try to keep that one step, she may fall.

Radhika looked at Dev: now what

Dev:what?

Radhika: how do I get back

Dev coming near: any suggestion

Radhika: call the nurse back

Dev: why?

Radhika: otherwise how do I get back?

Dev with a smile walked near to her, and then wrapped his arms around her waistline, and then pulled her closer to him: why, don't you trust me?

Suddenly Radhika felt shy , that she gazed down

Dev bringing her more closer: now you look very pretty Radhika, and

Radhika just stood there loosely holding on to his shoulder and still gazing down

The smile disappeared from his face and passionately he called her: Radhikaa, look at me

With little hesitation , she looked into his eyes.

Looking deep into her eyes, his gulping throat mumbled: Thank you Radhika, and I love you so much

All the pain and the discomfort from her body and face disappeared for a moment, and after a minute pass, she hugged him tightly, holding him closer to her, he felt complete once again , holding her closer to his heart. Her heart swelled with happiness , she felt that wetness again, that she moved slightly back with little embarrassment.

Dev: what happened?

Radhika: ji, nothing

Dev: I don't want to leave you from my hold, but our angel is waiting for you, come

Radhika felt his one hand sliding up near her neck , with that swing movement he took her in his arms, an she wrapped her arms around his neck, Dev looked into her eyes , said: told you to trust me, when I am near, you don't need anybody else.

Radhika hide her face in his chest, then with a smile Dev took his steps out.

Suchi saw them coming: aha, how easy. You should have told the nurse earlier, poor nurse

Dev with smile: she should have told me what she is going to do, I was just following her instrutions, if I had known it, I should have taken her in my arms only.

Suchi: um, then tell her next time ok

Dev: next time, we don't need her, I am here na

Suchi: dev, don't do this when others are here ok, people may say something

Dev: who cares mom

Suchi: ha, if you don't have any shyness, why should I bother

Dev: that's it mom. He was about to place Radhika on the bed

Suchi: no no, not there, here this chair

Dev: can she?

Suchi: um she can, she is going to sit, and try to feed the baby, poor her, she may be very hungry

Dev: mom, look at my angel, she is so calm and see how nicely she is sleeping

Suchi: um, maybe she is too tired that she doesn't have any energy to bring that voice out from her throat. The nurse told me she was crying loud insde

Dev: why?..., maybe she wanted to see me,

Suchi: ha, she cried to see you as soon as she came out, she was calling out papa, papa, papa...

Dev proudly: exactly mom

Suchi: ha, I know you will be happy hear that. Now can Radhika try to feed her baby

Dev: ji mom

But then the nurse came and informed Dev that doctor wants to see him.

Dev went out to meet the doctor.

Radhika felt little uneasy being near the others, but soon she got comfortable, when she held her daughter in her arms for the first time. Radhika felt the baby cheek touching her skin, and the nurse tried to slightly turn the baby's face to help her find her food. The nurse rubbed over the baby's cheek to get those lips open, Radhika saw the baby cheeks moving slightly in that rub, and soon the lips parted and the opening it wide, it latch onto its food.

Nurse: Radhika,. The effect of that injected medicine may wear off soon, so if you need any pain pill let us know, and we prefer you to take some instead of waiting for long & suffering it, ok..

Radhika: ji

Nurse: I know I don't have to tell anything, madam is here na.

Suchi looked at the nurse's face

Nurse: truly speaking I feel uncomfortable to explain everything as madam is here.

Suchi: don't worry, don't even think I am a doctor, I am here with my grand daughter, and I want you to tell Radhika what she suppose to do, don't hesitate to explain it to her, because she may learn better from you.

Nurse just smiled

Suchi: but yes Radhika, the nurse telling the right thing, take some pain pill with breakfast, ok.

Radhika: ji, as she was struggling to hold the baby in that position as the nurse moved out her support from under.

Suddenly suchi supported radhika's arms, with hers, and said; it may take few trieds to get that comforting posture.

Nurse: true, but try to keep your back straight Radhika, or may end up with back pain and all later. The nurse continued her preach saying: if at all possible sit up straight whenever you feed the baby, take care of the stitches, always burp the baby in beteeen the feeding

Radhika in mind: I am struggling to get this right, and what all she is telling, can I just concentrate here. Her elbow was droppig down from its L shape, when she got that right, the baby's head lagged down on the other side, and she tried to fix that, baby moved her face away. Where all I can hold.

But then the nurse broght one pillow and placed over Radhika's lap. Radhika felt a relief and relaxed slightly

Radhika: thanks

Nurse just smiled seeing Radhika's relief.

The angel went back to sleep again. The nurse took the baby in he rhand and tapped over her upper back placing her over her shoulder. and she kept on giving tips and instrutions while Radhika waited to hear that burp.The tries went on.

Dev came back and by the time the nurse left.

Suchi put the baby inside that basinet and was getting the food tray from Radhika

Dev: she slept already

Walking near to the bassinet

Suchi: um

Dev: why?

Suchi: I told her to wait till you come, but she preferred to sleep, maybe next time.

Dev: mom

Suchi: otherwise what you think. She may sleep whole day for next few weeks.

Dev: that is not fair

Suchi: why, she is a little one Dev

Dev was about to say something, Lechu ran in to the room

"where is my baby?'

Dev surprisingly: my baby, you wished for a boy, right, this is my baby. Ok

Lechu: who said that, where is she.

Her enthusiasm faded seeing the sleeping form.

Lechu: oh she is sleeping, not fair

Suchi : ha,and don't make that noises here, she is sleeping, don't disturb her, ok

Lechu: dad told me she exactly looks like me

Dev: oh really, when?

Lechu looking keenly at the sleeping face: ya, she looks like me only

Suchi: ha, but she is more similar to Dev

Dev: did you hear that

They were fighting near the bassinet

Sushma and daadi came in

Suhma: Radhika, we brought you food, and you already ate

Suchi: I only told her to eat, and she maybe very tired too. Now the baby sleeping , so

Sushma: don't worry, after finishing that , eat this too

Wheras daadi just went and took the baby in her arms from the bassinet

Lechu excitedly: daadima, you took the baby!!!

Daadi looking at the baby's face: you know what, next one also will be a girl, I am sure

Suchi: next we need a boy maaji

Daadima: I know, but Radhika will have a girl only

Daadi went and sat on a chair,and Lechu just went behind her

Sushma: rohini is cooking the lunch and she said she will be here before lunch time

Suchi: I told her to take rest

Sushma: who Rohini: she is non stop talking about it only. How Dev was taking care, how the baby looks like, and she said the baby looks exactly like you Radhika, let me check

Radhika smiled inwardly, and glanced at Suchi's expression

Sushma going near,: um, I think her nose, her eyes, no her lips, ha, her lips, her forehead, I am sure Radhika, she is going to have same hair like you

Dev very disappointly: then what about me?

Sushma: maybe her eyes, her forehead, then pausing for a second, I don't know, I can see both of you in her.

Suchi: ha, but when Dev born...

The ladies started the comparison talk, and the poor little tiny one slept in the middle of that noicy environment. Dev helped Radhika back into bed, she was able to take that steps with little help.

Radhika was about to close her eyes, the nurse showed up with feeding time sign. She tried to get her pillow in place and soon she was able to hold the baby in her arms. She felt better as the little angel made those gulping signs.

Radhika looked at Suchi in confusion. Soon everyone heard the presence of the little one in that room and it tried to peek at its highest level possible , and the sudden silence inside the room made it prominent.

Nurse: she maybe wet, let me check

She took the baby in her hand and went and changed the nappy.

Nurse: ok here she is all dry and ready, now she maybe more hungry.

Radhika took the baby back in her arms, and tried to feed her again.

Suchi: where is Dev, he should have hear that cry.

Sushma: still on the phone outside room.

Suchi: otherwise also when he talks on phone, he won't hear any other voices.

The ladies continued their talk, and the day passed quickly with the presence of family members and few other visitors, and phone calls, and nappy changes.

Rohini send Dev home that night to take rest, and did not give him any other choice than leaving. Dev was in his bed thinking about his baby's face, his hand just stroked over the sheet, the empty space, and with a smile he said: now you will be here, soon near me, and i will sing you lori, and we will talk forever..his eyes smiled seeing the happiest dreams of his future, but the heavy lids closed to darkness without his knowledge.
