In a really charitable and and amazing move, ZNMD producers Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar and directo Zoya Akhtar decided to contribute all of Thurday's movie earnings from Mumbai multiplexes towards the blast victims.
Mr Sidhwani released a statement to IANS on behalf of Excel Entertainment,
"We were in a very low mood after the blast and that is when Farhan, Kishore Lulla (of Eros International) and I thought of this idea. We had to do something for our city. The blast took place on Wednesday and still Mumbaikars turned up to watch our film. So, this is our way of showing that we care for the city and the people."
Multiplexes which are included in the donation include PVR Cinemas – Mulund, Goregaon and Juhu, Fun Cinemas – Chembur, Andheri, Kandivali, Vashi and Kalyan, Cinemax – Sion, and Inox – Nariman Point.
We love when our celebrities do good!!!
