First to challenge societal norms and take 'wrong' decisions because they are 'right' for me. First to put herself on line when stakes come calling for sacrifice.

The first I have a past with. The first I see in my present. The first I seek in my future.

First, and only.

A/N: Please please like-review?! I confess writing for the heck, but feedback reallyhelps. I also admit I'll probably write anyway given my current obsession with these characters and the show... but well!

@ Arti and Piu ☺️☺️☺️ You guys are totally flattering me now, but I'm genuinely happy you enjoy the little drabbles. Writing quick and brief is not my deal, and mostly I suck at it - but for the same reason it's the best way to get out of a writer's block... so I'm trying anyway (: It's just hard to stop going n, doing these drabbles and I have to remind myself to not over run length, lol!

@JZee: you know of all literary devices, repetition, alliteration, analogies and personification are my favs.. but repetition tops the list, cos it creates a more powerful impact of the reader... do you get what i mean? 😕
anyways, i absolutely loved the first things first post.. incredible! i'm sure that's remain my THE fav for the longest period of time...😳

EDIT - oh and i forgot symbolism...😆😳

Shalu I do love literary devices - undeniably obvious that is too! - but I'm the greatest fan of figurative and metaphorical writing... which unfortunately is not something I can ever manage without becoming too verbose! 😳 So it's not really happening her, for now. But I'm going to try and see - tell me when I hit a mark! 😆

i'll let you know when you do!😉 cos i'm sooo on a look out for it!😆

Hey Jzee... I don't know how else to address you...

Well, on to Gulaal... its just amazing how you have perfect cast, perfect story, amazing settings, all the basic nuances taken so well care of, and you just can't help but fall in love with the complete package... I even love to hate Sudhi-Talli and the nag gang... I have recently joined the fan-bandwagon of Gulaal... and have just completed my complete watch of the older episodes... which made me fall even further (if its even possible) with the whole story...

So, when I watch this story, I try and imagine the mindset or the emotions behind the people in the show, or sometimes the sobbing, frustrated souls. wanting to be understood ... I have my own version of how and why these characters are behaving the way they are... and when I get to read a brilliant analysis or portrayal of their mindsets on another wavelength at times... I can't stop but get more and more intrigued by the possibilities presented by this story... How each of us try and read into the lines/ body language/ every action-reaction... every song, everything... this forum is so full of such people who come up with so many varied interpretations of any scene or action...

So, thanks to you... I love your writing (I know I am sounding like a broken record...).. but it is such a treat to read what you write... not just coz I get such a different insight, but also you present your thoughts in such beautiful words, that I cannot stop myself frm going... 😍...

We could go on about why Gulaal is so awesome, walk to the end of the world and back in the meantime and still have things to say, I think.

Thanks a ton for your 'broken' but duly encouraging record! I have to admit it frustrates me sometimes, because I can seem to be satisfied with the depth of the plot and characters being conveyed with entire justice in words... and then i just give up and post. I suppose fancy writing is a good facade, but I'm yet to write a Gulaal drabble that really makes me go back and read it myself 😆 One of these days...! I hope you people will stick around that while ... 😊

Oh btw, Minks - it is a wonder, the way watching old episodes work for this show. I started watching it much later in the day too, and thought I knew the plot and was quite up to date... but spending the last few weekends following up on the past has proved me direly wrong. Immense credit to the team of this show - for episodes that are so powerful, that watching them is a whole new deal - whether or not you know what happened! It just brings brand new light over the slightest of nuances... every dialog, every twist, every scene... ! The lack of redundancy in this show has had me in awe for a while now (:

Jzephyr, its really beautiful well written and enjoyed reading very much. You are very good at writing.

I pretty amazed with your talent to connecting bangles forcefully broken at ritual of vasant deaths with reconstruction of Kaleidoscope. I loved this part. How she treasured this bangles and how Kesar beautifully reconstructed into her childhood beloved toy.

Honestly, I did not understand most of bits but did somehow to get conclusion probably through last line. Your writing is above my par of understanding, of very high standards.

Can I ask you what Kaleidoscope represent in this OS?

I will read everyones comments to understand better of your OS.
Thanks for sharing your OS with us.😊
