Zee TV and Hats Off Productions' Chhoti Si Zindagi which told the emotional tale of two little kids Isha (Richa Mukherjee) and Ira (Shruti Bhist), is now all set to take a leap. It is believed that a leap of 10-12 years will be taken soon, after which the story will focus on the grown up girls.

The latest news coming from the sets is that Toral Rasputra and Leena Jumani have been zeroed in to play Isha and Ira respectively.

A little birdie tells us, "Toral who is presently essaying Rasal in Sahara One's Kesariya Balam Aavo Hamare Des has decided to quit the show,
as she will now concentrate on playing the role of Isha. Leena Jumani who was last seen in Sahara One's Ganga Kii Dheej will play the younger sister, Ira".

We hear that there will be some major sequences happening in the story before the leap is taken. In the coming episodes, Ira will be adopted by Indrani (Shweta Gautam) after which there will be a blast in the orphanage wherein both the sisters separate. Post leap, they will be shown in their respective lives.

When contacted, Toral told TellyBuzz, "Talks are on, but there is no official confirmation as yet".

Leena confirmed that she is playing the younger sister Ira post leap.

We hear that the girls are scheduled to start shoot by this weekend, and the leap will be aired in the coming week.

Let's see how life shapes up for the sisters in the Zee TV show post the leap..
