X Factor July 9-an episode of confused judgements

• Piyush Kapoor tried hard to perform well, but was completely out of sync with the song genre. He litrelly went off track and his high notes were groaning and he seemed pretty tired. Yet the judges praised him but they too looked quite confused...as if they were trying to say something but said something else.
• The sajdaa sisters were amazing in singing, but the original track sung by sunidhi was full of energy which these girls fell a bit short of. Their judgenemt was fair but not really worthy of deserving "standing ovation."
• Geet sagar himself looked confused. And so were the judges. He sometimes sang in sync, sometimes out of. Bland at best.
• The best part of sahiti is that she is really beginning to open up her voice and bringing her energy to singing. But she needs to overcome her stage fright. She looked pretty camera shy and this showed in her concluding line.
• Nirmitee group is impressive. Very impressive in the fusionised version of saathiya. They added western tone and at the same time added more "Indian" light tamil masala rap. Superb as usual.
• And Mr kartarji continues to murder and perform murderous tracks. This is X factor, not your usual padosi function. No modulation, laboured high notes, just complete flat singing and an absolute bland uninspiring performance. And...shreya..as usual..is all singing praises for him...confusion...way too cunfused judgement.
• Seema Jha sang beautifully..just beautifully. A sad version needs perfect concentration and sur and she performed with elan. Great improvement in voice control shown. But I didnt get shreya's judgement saying that she had execution problem. She is totally confused today. For her age...she performed beautifully.
• I heard lot of praises of deewana group and I have seen them after a long time performing mitwa re. The group rekindled the spirit of lagaan and sang superbly. But the original song had more energy and was sang more openly by Udit Narayan. But the group was lacking the spark to sing this type of a song, though it may be debatable...considering they sang in their own way and softened a bit. The judgement was all praises..but I wasn't too impressed as much as seema did.
• And today I saw a different kind of amit jadhav-amit jadhav the singer. He sang with full concentration and great openness. But somewhat he looked pretty nervous.

We are back to the songs of the last decade, last 10 years.

For me X factor was interesting because we could hear some old songs, some i had never heard before.😊

Todays episode reminded me of all those shows which had the same old recycled songs of the last decade😡

BTW, there were 8 members in the deewana group i thought.Today, there were only 7😃
