Right from the begining I always wanted Jassi to be happy. I considered Purab more suitable for Jassi than Armaan. Armaan used to be rude ,a womaniser not to mention an oppurtunist.
When Jassi fell in love with Armaan. I was angry with Jassi for loving "that Armaan". 😡 😡
Armaan changed in Jassi's love... Then I never wished they be apart ever.
I just wanted Jassi to be happy 😊 . And she was Happy only with her Armaan sir. They were excellent together on screen their chemistry was awesome even before the makeover.
I guess for me it wasn't Armaan or Purab. It was Jassi's happiness.... true Tree hugger indeed.

JJKN/BLF was a love story of two people and that two people were arman and jassi and they were meant to be with each other irrespective of their flaws and characters

You are right Tina. Even from as early as episode 4 (i haven't seen the first 3) Armaan was always nice to jassi, esp whenever he was alone with her 😳 It was pari whom he was quite rude to 😆

Yeah, even I stopped watching jjkn when purab turned up in alibagh and missed all the yummy janda episodes - octaviour, jealous armaan etc 😭 Stupid me 🤢

JS, it doesn't always happen like that in soaps. I used to watch T&D's earlier soap Banegi Apni Baat, where I wanted the so called hero and heroine - Rahul and Ria to marry each other. But not only did T&D make Rahul marry the other girl, but they even killed him off!!! That's why I was paranoid that T&D might try the same tricks in jjkn and make jassi marry purab. In fact during the MM track, I was even scared that jjkn might go the hum dil de chuke sanam way and jassi may end up actually marrying MM. At least T&D didn't disappoint me in this soap!!! Thank goodness for that!!!

haha...pari!😆(thats becuase he knew she was mallika's chamchi!)he wasnt half as rude as he used to be with mallika!i used to enjoy the armaan-mallika fights!remember the jokes raj used to crack!and somehow raj used to blab out everything when he was drunk and jassi had to come and rescue armaan from his fiance!😆god i miss those days...

To be honest, though i knew when the serial started that Armaan and Jassi would end up together, adn was in fact eagerlt awaiting that day, when Purab came on the scene i totally lost it and became despo fro Jassi to marry him.

I even used to declare, "If Jassi marries Armaan instead of Purab, i will stop watching this serial!" Of course i ate my words later, with the greatest relish! 😆

I did feel at that time that Purab was the only one who understood Jassi and that Armaan was an insensitive jerk who desrved only Mallika. In fact, at one point i almost believed that he truly loved Mallika. 😆
But underneath it all, i did sense that somewhere, Armaan cared for Jassi without knowing it. So many gestures of his made this evident, even though at the time he used to find her ugliness repulsive. Moreover, i maintained that Armaan had the one thing Purab did not--sex appeal! 😉 😳 Armaan's chemistry with Jassi was much stronger than Purab's.

I guess the turning point came when Armaan learns that Jassi is going to marry Purab. The news shakes him up; but instead of acting jealous, he decides to rejoice in J's happiness. After that episode where J is on the verge of confessing her love to Armaan sir while her pre-engagement party is going on...i felt sure that Armaan loved Jassi .
I wanted a Kuch Kuch Hota Hai-type climax where Purab would realise that Jassi's true love was Armu, and would unite them.
tnD chose an easier way out--they destroyed Purab's characeter by making him ditch jassi like that.

After that, i became an out-and-out JandA fanatic. The jealousy scenes gave the final touch. In fact whenPurab met Jassi in Mauritius i was annoyed; i was horribly afraid that Jassi would land up with him. But thankfully..... 😛

From day on, when i saw Jassi, and Armaan Sir i wanted them together. They were made for each other. 😆 😆 Purab, wow there hasn't been one second of my life i wanted him with Jassi. He was a good friend, but not a life partner.
They were the main lead, so i wanted them together i guess. 😕 😆

thats becuase we are out and out armaan fans....😆we dont like kabab- me- haddis good or bad ones!😉
