Most of us loved the last scene, so much - alot of things were said and so on, however harsh it was, because Gulaal only brought out what Kesar has been going on about ever since Kesar said said you are my wife, and the love confession and the paagal-pan-ness he displayed last week - which all summed up to what Gulaal thinks and gave him a mirror to see, look isnt this what you wanted, me your wife in front on you, and so on, like she says you dont want me as a person you just want a wife, you will do things for you and so on
The last sentense bit where she totally goes here i have you myself and so on, you can do anything - was believe it or not painful her to say and she was in angry, and you can see after Kesar rightly so says Thats it, i cant listen to this anymore, how can you even think that, is your mind in the right place... and you see Gulaal totally crying out, and also disbelief in what she says, the way she puts her hand on her mouth, and also somewhat to control her cries...
I feel that Gulaal today feels like she is possession, that is now back in the house well forced back and will live how and do things ppl will tell her esp Kesar...
I don't know what to be without you around...
Shock horror đ that JK actually agrees with what Gulaal has done by coming back, not only that but actually living in the same room as Kesar, i saw such contentment on her face, whilst uncomfortableness on Paanbha, and well Sudha just didnt quite like it lol
I did says yesterday in JZee's post, that
If she goes back to her own bedroom, all i see is her going to HER room, her safe haven, that belongs to her and Vasant, esp if they were/are getting across that Gulaal unknownly has closure of Vasant (esp as how they got across when she left the house and now she says her mann and atma is somewhere else) and his memories then they need to keep her in Kesar's room i think đ but then again this is such a big thing isnt it to happen... dont think everyone will be comfortable with it and so on
Quite pettiness i see from Sudha, that she cant entered the kitchen area and so on, Sudha is the elder bahu of this house, but by relation if Motabha is the elder brother then Kesar is still considered older then D and Raman, so Gulaal's place still remains above Sudha doesnt it?? and the way Sudha goes on that Gulaal has snatched someone else's love, all i can say is and hopefully i hope one day Talli says to her, that the love she is talking about was never hers in the first place...
It was good to see Kesar standing up for Gulaal and trying to reason with Sudha, even if Gulaa told him not to and leave it to her, as she will deal with it, at this point of time, she just doesnt want Kesar's interference in anything involving her and so on and also the fact that she gets Sudha's anger as well, and Gulaal will take it, as you saw her explain to Paanbha later on
Anyways i have to say quite a few times, few ppl said that Gulaal's place in this house is not how it will be before, even i got that hint yesterday esp in Gulaal herself and what she said after she walked in the house and so on... and you see that Gulaal has lost herself and today she says she will have to look for herself in this house and even she doesnt know what the future holds or what her decision of remaining in Kesar's room means, but like Paanbha says to everyone outside well in the family, it does look like she has accepted Kesar as her husband
Its interesting that we got the Paanbha/Gulaal scene after the Kesar/Gulaal scene on the landing, coz what Gulaal wanted to say to Kesar and us, she said it - now that she is back and in his room, she has not and ever will see him or accept him as a hubby...
What was telling in that scene, that Gulaal will from now on dish out, stern attitude and straight to the point answers to Kesar and so on and also despite everything you still see so much emotions on her face (you dont see it when he again claims ILU to her, which is not what Gulaal wants to hear, saying that mantra over and over again is not helping) esp when Kesar stops her and says what he says, that he wont come near her, or come in front her and so on... and this is what he need when he came to gethis pillow and when he walked back into his room in the morning, wondering where Gulaal might of gone, seeing as he asked where she is, and you see him settle when Talli says she is having her breakfast and so on... and saying he will go after her, and Talli i have to say picked up on it straight away when he isnt coming in front of her and so on... (i also thought it was maybe coz she might of heard the earlier convo, but i dont think it is, i think Talli is just seeing their behaviour from afar) and today Talli gave him a mirror as well, because even now Kesar hasnt figured out that what he was doing was forcing her to come back, making her majboor and all that, and finally that one question that Talli asks, Does he want to achieve Gulaal's love or wants to lose her forever... coz the way Kesar is going and how Gulaal is feeling, Gulaal is losing herself - you see and feel she has lost that Gulaal-ness that she had before she left the house and today as she tells Paanbha, that she will have to search for herself in this house
I think both Kesar and Gulaal have alot of searching to do, about themselves esp Kesar - today as someone mentioned yesterday Kesar has habit of thinking in parts and its something i have said ages ago, that Kesar only holds onto to one thing at time, you saw it today - him again repeaing ILU, my reason was not to do what you are thinking, but he doesnt seem to see the bigger picture that Gulaal harshly gave him yesterday... all in all Gulaal basically gave him a whole reality and few questions he should be asking himself and so on, searching within himself
Now for the Kes-Gul scene, again you see Kesar saying i only wanted you to stay in front of me and near me... and yes thats all Kesar wanted and we all know why... but do you know what that looks like to Gulaal and anyone else, that it feels like she is some kind of possession that Kesar just keep near and so on, and expect nothing from it and so on... but it is time Kesar realises that he needs to figure out what is love actually is... is it what he claims it to be or does he even think of what Gulaal needs and wants, what her grief, sadness, he loneliness, her decisions are about (probably sees it but i dont see him giving an deep thought to it), and who she is as a WOMEN, does he even see her as WOMEN or just GULAAL the one he knows... and also understands the meaning of what a wife means, and what it entails in a hubby/wifey relation while Gulaal gets it, and the bigger picture of that (and one fo the reason thats why she claims that she just cant give him that place and so on), Kesar just doesnt quite see the bigger picture to it
When Gulaal says she sees him and his intentions (i dont think its what she implied yesterday that he wants her physical as that, she knows that deep deep down that Kesar just isnt like that) but she knows his intentions of why he wants her near and in front of him, coz of the things he has been going on about, and what she said to him yesterday - He only wants a wife, so she can be near him as such and do things for him.. and for his own sake - this is what Gulaal gets and and sees as his intention, i firmly believe she doesnt think Kesar wants her like that or thinks of her of like - coz if you watch back yesterday's episode, you see what she says before (giving him a clear picture on why he wanted her back, as Gulaal and as a wife, and his so called love) getting to the last bit in giving him his right to her.
Just like Kesar says his mann, his soch wont change on her being his patni, today Gulaal says her soch, her mann wont ever give him the place of a husband... but she did say that in front of the world, and in rituals/traditions - he is her pati.
Another thing Gulaal says is that before she was lonely without Vasant, and today even with being with Kesar - she will be lonely as well, and we all know how true that is for the time being, and those tears that you see Kesar's eyes that just fills up esp when at the point where she says she cant give him a place of hubby in her mind, and in her soch, and heart and i think Gulaal got slight surprise when he agrees with her, that if he is that muc of a problem and causes her hurt then he wont come near her, or in front her - and again Gulaal's expression were something else and then later on the night scene, (which i had a feeling that Kesar will either sleep on the floor or go to the terrace, here we see he opts for the terrace) you see Gulaal wondering where Kesar could be and then she looks onto the terrace sees him asleep on the floor, and you see sudden shift of emotions, on finding him... you got to hand it to Kesar that she knew who must of sent the blanket to cover him (or he must know his own blanket lol) and the look Gulaal had when she got caught, which i think we knew she didnt want to be seen even or even Kesar to see her somewhat caring for him and so on, and her crying her heart out, one minute she cant stand to be even near him and then cares for him, isnt that something similar what Kesar was doing back then when he came back, tables have turned today, Gulaal i see will be like how Kesar was with her when he returned and so on, and Kesar will be what we saw today and probably how Gulaal was back then.. even she said that if he doesnt want to see her face and so on, she wont come near him or do stuff for him lol
Gulaal and Talli said two similar things today, that who knows what tomorrow or the future will bring, Gulaal has no idea what her step today of sharing a room will be as she says she doesnt quite have the answers that Paanbha asking or saying and what has happened in the last few days, no one knows mostly her doesnt know what the result will be as time goes by... and like Gulaal says and what she has always done is chosen what she thought was right at the time, not only for her but for everyone else as well, esp in the long run despite not knowing what the future holds, and then Talli tells her later on that what is happening, let it happens coz neither of them can stop it from happening as nothing is in their hands and so on, and again Talli has to tell her that she is ok, she is fine, she will be fine, coz Talli i feel knows Gulaal, and feels alot of guilt on what has happened and you also see that when she accepted why Sudha was lashing out to her, and as a mother
Another thing is how she stares at Vasant's photo, its like a lost soul - tears coming out but with so much sterness to that face of hers, it does feel like she is lost... and another thing the convo with Paanbha we had single shot of camera going to Vasant's photo, (he still had a somewhat bright light on him whilst Gulaal's whole colour has gone after she left that house, esp what we saw yesterday with what she decided on her bed looking on at the photo and then in the things Gulaal was saying... ) that she will have to search for herself, she doesnt know what this step she has taken will be in the future... what do i make of Vasant's photo showing in that scene??? i dont know esp how to put it in words, i guess i am hoping that Vasant is going to be somewhat show her the way, i dont know how to explain it - give her light at the end of a dark tunnel, come out of whatever shell she has gone into or could it mean that with Vasant there, means things will finally look up for her someway - anyway in this step she has taken, and what has happened in the last few days...
You know i questioned myself why the writers gave Gulaal, and why Gulaal carries around THAT photo of Vasant, coz we all know around the house and so on there is much more better photos of Vasant and him smiling and so on, then what she has now esp after she left the house this is the photo she had and has been with, but the usage of that photo with no smile says alot coz here you see Vasant - just like looking on at everything, with his eyes far away not even looking straight at you
Few things have stuck out to me, yesterday and main reason she is back as she said, coz of Kesar NOT for him bottomline - no matter what she was back coz of one name KESAR, her new place in the house and what that means (coz today we saw her dad getting restless/worried on what this could mean for Gulaal going back there and what place she will have, coz somewhere the equation has changed, coz really she went back there as Kesar's patni - i kinda want to also connect that with what we call the Vasant closure scene meaning her leaving the house last week) and also i think slowly slowly somehow her looking for herself will hopefully lead her to Kesar, as i said this is a new phase/chapter in the Kes-Gul saga... since yesterday's last scene, it opened up quite alot of tracks and factors they can add here and so on, and also the equation between Kes-Gul as changed, seeing we are actually seeing both and mostly everyone in the house talking about the marriage in actual terms, esp what we saw of Kes-Gul yesterday and the decision Gulaal took in the bedroom issue...
PRECAP - JK telling Gulaal that they only too her back coz she is Kesar's patni, and really what else relation does she have to this house
Now this is the somewhat thing, her father was going on about, how the family will treat Gulaal mainly JK, coz JK makes it sound like they did Gulaal and her family a favour by taking in Gulaal and so on, esp as she told Revji baapji last week, that Gulaal should be grateful that a hubby wants his wife back, and accepts her - an older woman, an widow and so on - now that was an insult, and Revji baaji felt insulted and you saw his reaction to what he said about Gulaal not coming back into the house
