I personally find Karan a very dull actor for such a role. Playing such a role requires a lot of emotions and realisation which is lacking in Karan, the way he smiles is how usually villians in a drama smile. Not genuine lovers and that also homosexuals stuck between love and honour. Gaurav, nonetheless, is an awesome actor! Even before the Gaurav-Aarti-Vidya scene started I had the feeling he isn't interested in women, for some reason.

I completely agree with you. Since the first day we saw Karan, I just haven't been keen on his acting as the gay lover of Gaurav. While Gaurav's acting, emotions, expressions, everything have been top notch, I feel like Karan comes off relatively expressionless at times, and just not as emotionally responsive as Gaurav does.

Maybe as his role gets more involved with the entire situation, he'll improve, but yes as of now, I definitely agree with you about the lack of emotions.

I've started to watch the show just recently, so I don't know what happened between Gaurav and Karan earlier.

But from Karan's expressions, his dialouges with Devyani and Gaurav, I feel that Karan is upset with Gaurav for being so unfair to himself and Karan and also Vidya. His expressions say that he's tired of Gaurav not accepting him and neglecting him for so long. So maybe his acting is justified. The character Gaurav can express his love for Karan because Karan is not the one denying their relationship, it is Gaurav who does that. So Karan should be very upset with him.

Anyway, I don't know the earlier storyline. If it's different from what I think it is, then Naina and Preciousa, you two could be right.
