Sana to be seen in Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya
Sumit JhaSumit Jha, TNN | Jun 20, 2011, 06.54pm ISTSmall screen actress Sana Sheikh will be soon seen essaying a prominent role in Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya. She will play a character called Ganga who will enter the show in the coming week.
The story of Pratigya has reached a point where, instigated and manipulated by Amma, Krishna signs the divorce papers to break his marriage with Pratigya. Pratigya is really upset by the happenings in the Thakur household and leaves for her parents' house.
Amma feels triumphant about creating misunderstandings between the couple and sending Pratigya out of the house. Meanwhile Sajjan Singh brings a demure young village girl called Ganga and makes her a part of the Thakur household. Everybody is baffled as to who is this new girl in the house.
Speaking about the role, Sana Sheikh informs, " I am really excited about my new project. I would be playing the role of Ganga who is a poor young village girl. She would be brought to the Thakur family and Sajjan Singh has an agenda for her. The role is fairly long in the show."
