True, SRGMP and II have a bigger fanbase, so is that a tacit concession that all the bad ones ended up in this show? 😆

Indian Idol last year honestly had QUITE a handful of horrible singers from Tia to Manisha to Yashraj despite having such a large fanbase

Talent varies per show but at the end of the day its really not the show's fault if your looking to blame someone but the jaanta's fault on not wanting to participate😛

Either way I'm LOOOVING the talent here.. I have more favorites here than I ever had on II.. On II I only liked Shivam.. and here I can easily name like 5 or 6 people I love.. but this is all subjective at the end of the day

What you like and what I like can be 2 diff things 😊

i remember i went to a wedding a year back ... and rahul vaidya was performing there (horrible singing and background girls in tacky costumes btw) ... also saw one of the guys from fame gurukul (not kazi but the runner up) on 'big fat indian wedding' on imagine ... he was singing in some NRI wedding is zambia or something ... So good that people get to make money

... i cannot seriously see any of them make it as a playback singer ... its good that people get to make money but shouldn't you give your audience some respect by having good singers and at least do not go overboard praising bad singing ... Sometimes, when the song finishes and i think now, now the judges are going to tear them down and say what horrible work ... but instead they get standing ovations *head desk* ... this praising of substandard work irritates me

All music shows follow that pattern??😆

But good judges should imply selection of good singers, right?, so we either have, 1) all three judges are bad, 2) judges are good, but good singers didn't show up, so had to make do with the best of the worst. 😆

I started to watch this show on line thinking may be this one will be a different one since the judges and the Mahaguru are talented individuals. After watching the show on you tube last night I am glad I didn't subscibe to these channels. The song selections were not music to my ear, it was more of a going through pain and agony. So I have decided to only listen to those who will sing in true sense ( in my opinion ofcourse) and rest fast forward the ones that gives me headaches!!
