How do I begin ,?? Girls..How Do I begin a post that holds my views which has been presented to you so often that you prolly will remember even before reading this Post?? How Do I present the same views yet have to make it new and in a way as to grab your interest ..let me jolly well give it a try..
Krishna's uncontrolled rage and hate of Pratigya ...
there has been many posts demanding /deriding/deploring to know why Krishna is behaving so?? How can he be so?? ...what about the so called love ?? what about the devotion?? ..Let me say ..Let me say , The intensity of his anger.hate is directly proportional to the depth of his love...and proves that Love lurks under that murky layer's ...What then is the reason for the unreasonable anger ???
Imagine ...No , Not that of John Lennon's one..but do actually imagine a person, A devotee , Passionately devoted to his deity , absorbed in her, worshiping her every waking hours and sleeping too , his mind and heart completely enslaved by her, following her tenets blindly and obediently convinced that his Goddess can do no wrong and will never guide him in the wrong path, completely confident that his Goddess is the vision of Goodness and many virtues ...over Time, his devotion runs deep, turns fanatic and he is totally immersed in her, his thoughts monopolized by her ...
One day, lets suppose, few construction worker's come [unbeknownst to him] and renovate the temple, in the process few clods of cement or mud gets encrusted on deity's feet... The devotee is unaware of it and comes to her , as is his daily ritual..horror of horror's !! what does he see..his Goddess, His focal point of existence, The Goddess he worshiped with every atom of his body has feet of clay !! ...A normal man would have seen what it was..few pieces of mud ; and would have cleaned it off or investigated to see the source of it , but this worshipper is passionate, fanatic cannot bear even a miniscule stain on the Goddess he worships, his whole being freezes over and only one thought circles his mind..That he has been cheated , His Goddess is made of clay ...[ Not for a minute does the thought enter his mind , that this earth can be removed and underneath he will find his deity's golden feet again] ...Imagine the sense of betrayal, the sense of revulsion, self loathing on being taken for a ride..He is caught up in the moment and can only react , his thinking abilities is under severe shock ...
Again, let me approach this in another way..many of u might consider this as offensive..but please understand that I am not being offensive nor am I ridiculing you..All I am trying to do is make my POV clear ...
All of us are reasonably intelligent , some very intelligent ...we know that this is a work of fiction , we know that Krishna does not exist and is a figment of imagination, yet he has a special place in out heart..we love him and there is a genuine affection for the character .. we feel his pain,anger..we love him for his straightforwardness, for his loyalty to his wife, for his obsessive love .. we have also had a front seat view of all the shenanigans happening in the Thakur's household , we saw How circumstance was manipulated, we saw how the words of Pratigya was twisted and given another sinister view , we saw the decreasing trust and increasing doubts of Krishna, we saw the shock and how he was manipulated when Krishna EQ at its lowest ..if we do not involve our heart and think coldly, Krishna's action's are quite understandable but we involved our heart and WE REACTED !!..we put away our thinking cap and can only agonize why?? ..This is exactly the situation of Krishna !!..Right now, he can only agonize WHY?? and not What made her do it??Is she capable of doing it ?? etc etc...
The Tattoo
I might have angered few people by advocating the removal of Tattoo ..To many of us, it is a symbol of his Love..To me it is a symbol of his obsession, his immaturity ..it is a reflection of the unequal status, it is about a Goddess and a high priest , A Higher being and a mortal boy , A adoring infatuation of a boy.. ...To me the destruction of the Tattoo would symbolize the restoration of balance , it would reflect that now it is that of a Man who his equal to his woman, whose infatuation has been tested,pricked and finally matured into love , a selfless love ..A love that does not need a tattoo to prove his affection or the depth and intensity of it because now the name has been engraved in his heart and branded into his very soul !!
However , I feel that the CV's might not go through with the Tattoo removal ,Although I wish they do so...
