Hehe not all punjabis have that habit lol
umm for more u can almost do it every word which doesnt itself start with "sh" sound so for example:
computer shomputer
milk shilk
roti shoti
doodh shoodh
luv shuv
time shime
apple shapple
not only do u can "Sh" you can add "w" in sum cases like
larka warka
kam waam
(But this doesnt sound that good and not universal like 'sh' hehe)

it is very common in noth and Delhi area for people to speak like Mona. It is like a local slang . we used it quite often too. But not like mona who uses it is in every sentence

I think, she overdos most of her speeches.. like trying to make to look 'real' she ends up messing it up more.. and it really sounds soo fake.. no offense!

I am Punjabi and my whole family speaks Punjabi and I swear every time I watch this show I say "This is not how we speak" I have rarely/never ever heard anyone rhyming two words like that or saying "by god." They are over-exaggerating it. It's a misconception that Punjabi's speak like that and they are kind of adding on to it. lol! You know Daarji, Amrit, Gurnam and Satnam we kind of speak like that. Those people are the best example that I can give you. Just take their Hindi out and that's the way we talk.

I agree,

I am Punjabi, we don't speak like this, they are way over exaggerating it ...most punjabi's speak like Gurnam, Vimmi and Amrit.

Nooo.. not them! Mona or i shld say Sara is over exaggerating it!! She herself is not a punjabi, therefore, she "TRIES" to show that she knows how to be one, and in turn.. it all looks fake. Like, the way you act, usually is just a cover for what and who u are really not. Kinda like.. psychology is at its work here. So its really annoying to watch her speak like that. I'm not a Punjabi myself.. but really.. how unnatural and annoying can a person get?! (no offense again). Why can't she just talk normally.. Seriously! Priyal was a better choice over her.. ANYDAY! At least.. she kept it fresh and natural.. unlike.. this Sara! 😡

Again you need to understand PRIYAL IS GONE!!! and is NOT coming back so lets speak presently and start getting used to this fact.

And Secondly don't hate on Sara she is doing the paper that the CV's have written out for her, the reason she's stayed on this long is because she has ROCKED!!!!! the paper/part of Mona and i'm sure others feel the same way. The fact that she is Punjabi or not has nothing to do with the price of rice. She is doing as she is instructed and whomsoever doesn't agree should either contact the CV's or simply not say anything negative toward the actors themselves.!!
