As I watch this serial, I sense, how grown up people who are responsible for their young children, often lose sight of their problems, and dwell on their personal grievances and stereotyped views. Changes that have come, create new problems, and it is sad to see the young grapple with them on their own, without the support of those who were supposed to help.
From the previous day, we say, how Daksh had gone to Naina's room, and brought milk
for her, and found her brooding on some problem, which she did not want to share. Daksh consoles his friend, and encourages her to find an answer on her own, and if she still needed help, he was always there to help her. Daksh empathizes with her, as he too is going through the same conflict, not being able to express himself, and dodging the question, and delaying to find an answer. A latent fear of rejection, a common ailment at this age, stops him from doing what every one looking at him wants him to do. When Daksh is gone, Naina takes courage, and rings her home, but before she can continue, Akruti comes in with her problem. She has tried to talk Ayush into confiding in his parents, and he is a time server, and adept in bullying the simple girl, that Akruti is. She wants to believe him, even though there is a lurking fear that he may be lying to her. Naina listens to her, and when Akruti confides that Ayush will be there fore her, she does not say much, as she has her own problem to contend with. At last, when she gets connected to her home, her maid, picks up the call, and tells her that Anjali is out, and she will let her know that she called. The maid, has the instinctive sense, to know that this girl is in trouble, and wants the Madam to help.
Akruti leaves to attend to Mrs Deshpande's daughter's jewelry selection. They are with the jeweler, and looking at rings, and we come to know that the girls name is Mansi. She expresses, that she would like a ring with the initials of her fiance. Akruti asks what it is, and the answer comes: M. and A., Akruti guesses that the boy's name starts with A. She thinks of her own Ayush. Ironically, it is Ayush who is engaged to marry Mansi. She calls him from the shop, and he tells her that he is on the way. Just before he can arrive, Akruti gets a call, and she goes aside to answer the call. Ayush arrives, and as usual, makes a show of his importance. The ladies are overwhelmed by the bridegroom. when Mansi wants to introduce Akruti, she is no where to be found. Viewers will be waiting apprehensively, for the outcome of this engagement.
We also glance at the turmoil Shridar Kaka is in, as he comes for his meal, and walks
towards his table. Rohini is cautioned by her husband to say nothing, but her tongue itches, and waits to have her say. When Shridar does not find any food on his table, he walks away, and Ayee notices, and asks him, if she can prepare tea for him, and he is very obliged. Rohini starts pouncing on her mother in law, and argues with her, as to why she does not understand that her uncle was responsible for their misery. Ayee has had enough of her, and she tells her to stop, and not to say a word against him. she warns her, that whatever he may be, he is still the part of the family, and he will be treated as such by all living under her roof.
Minoo Tai, is all excited about the Mangal Sutra, a wedding necklace of spiritual significance, which she has made for Naina, and she shows it to her sister and gets her nod of approval. When Daksh comes she also shows it to him, and puts it round
Naina's neck, when she finds her coming in, and says, "It will be much more beautiful on her, when my son, Abhi puts it on her" - Daksh suffocates within himself, for losing his chance. Minoo asks her if she has contacted her Guardian, and she calls her Maushi for a moment, and apologizes and says, "I was about to call" and then leaves to try again. She is back in the room, and Daksh too is there. Anjali tries to call, but Naina does not answer her mobile. She tries again, and gets no reply. Then she calls on the house land line, and Daksh picks it, and is told that it is Anjali, and she wants to speak to Naina. Daksh calls her and asks her to speak to her mother. Naina reluctantly goes to the telephone, and hears her mother's voice, and emotions well up within her. Anjali too turns emotional, and tries to say something meaningful, and tries to find out what Naina wanted. Naina fumbles for words, and is not ble to express what is on her mind.

Daksh tells her that he has to go on some work, and the flight time is nearing. She asks him how long he will be away. He says that it will be some time, before he comes back. Naina says, it would have been nice, if he was at home, and Abhi enters, and sees her talking to Daksh, with some fear, in the pit of his stomach.
Poor boy, his girl can not wean herself from her 'best friend' and what might he be thinking?
