Aleeza, the wedding belle?

Not so long ago, we had reported about television Aleeza who turned down a role in Zee's daily soap Mamta simply because she didn't want to play an unwed mother on the show.
The actress, we are told is now keen to get married… in real life. The significant other in her life happens to be actor Kashif Khan. A source tells us that Aleeza and Kashif have known each other for many years now and that the couple wants to get married. However, since both belong to conservative Muslim families, they are waiting for the right moment to declare it to their parents.
Khan rose to fame when he played Raj in Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki. He had replaced Arjun Punjj after the latter was bumped off on the show. However, Khan's presence did not go down well with the audience and adversely affected the TRPs. Not surprisingly, Khan was unceremoniously dumped and Punjj made a re-entry. It seems that Khan's family lives in Abu Dhabi and he helps in running their family business.
When contacted, Aleeza said: "Yes, we are going steady." However she was quick to add, "Kashif doesn't want to make it public. He is a very private person. I don't exactly know what his problems are, but I completely understand his stance. I wouldn't want to make it public until he's ready for it."
Khan could not be reached for comment.
