HT = Hindustan Times (it is in Brunch, Sunday magazine that comes with HT)...really good one...
The craziest thing you've ever done?
When I married Radhika I thought it was the craziest thing I'd done. I was totally unprepared for it. But I'm glad I did it, because now I feel it was the best thing that I could have done!
Your best trait?
I smile a lot. 👍🏼
And your worst?
I am very forgetful. I say something or meet someone and then forget. This has landed me in many uncomfortable situations.
If you could blow up a million bucks in a day…
I don't know, but I'll probably give it away in charity. There's no better way to spend such a huge amount in a day.
What makes you laugh?
Anything. Life's quite funny. It's just the way you look at things. Even regular mundane stuff can be very amusing.
Two guests you'd love to have home for dinner and why...
Osama and Bush. I want to sit with them over the dinner table and tell them to quit ruining the world.
If you could go back in history, which period would it be?
The '60s. I feel it was the most beautiful period in every aspect. That was when society began to progress.
Your favourite ghar ka khana?
Macher-jhol and bhaat (fish curry and rice). This shouldn't be a surprise considering my Bengali origins.
One bad habit you wish to get rid of?
I dig my nose too much. It becomes very embarrassing at times. I start doing it in public and people start staring. 😆
What would you wear on a hot date?
A tuxedo. I don't get to wear suits at all. So I'd try it then.
What's in your wallet?
Almost nothing. A few worn out pics of my kids and wife, some visiting cards of God knows who and no cash because I don't know how and where it goes every time I put it there.
The stress buster that always works for you?
Playing with my kids. Your favourite one-liner? Keep it simple.
You get bored when…
Something or someone gets repetitive.
The corner of your house you love the most?
Well, ours is a new home so I am still trying out each corner. My bedroom is split-level and I like sitting on the stairs in between the two levels, so maybe that one.
Your dream machine is…
A bike. That's because I don't know how to ride one. (me too, but I know how to ride😆)
What would you never leave home without?
My clothes.
The sexiest woman you can think of?
Hmmm… No one really. I like a lot of women but no one whom I can dub the epitome of sexuality.
Your guilty passion/ secret? Alcohol. But I am not really guilty about it. I like drinking and when drunk I am quite entertaining. At least so I believe.😆
