What do you think about the show?

Hey guys, I'm Roshni... Usually a silent reader of your posts and well this is my first post in this forum. 😛
So after the first and second episode I have to say that I'm disappointed with the show.
On the whole the show has really disappointed me so far... There are some good points to the show and there are a lot of bad points for the show from my part.

So to start with the good points:
- First of all I think the judges are very nice, be it to each other or to the contestants which keeps the positivity on the show. The singers are all amazing, they all have great potential, great voices and each of them for sure has an x factor in them.
Also Aditya is such a sweet, cute host, it does seem like he already is gelling well with the contestants which is really good for them to be comfortable.
And the choreography, i really liked some of the choreographies in the show so far. 👍🏼

Now coming to the negative points of the show:
- Well on the whole as i said before i am very disappointed by the show... i mean the show is no different from sa re ga ma pa or Indian idol beside the fact that there is no age limit and groups or duos can take part in the show. That is the only change in this reality show.
Plus when in the last audition aditya said that now they are going to start the live shows or as adi said the "live concert" on Fridays and Saturdays, i thought it would be like any other x Factor and it will be LIVE. Live telecast and not already shot, edited and then telecasted, when you say x factor for me you directly say LIVE SHOWS = LIVE TELECAST, contestants have only one chance to give their performance and not shoot and reshoot it, it can be spontaneous because the only script given is to the host only and not also to the judges to praise each other and the contestants, there is NO CRITICISM in the show, how do they want the contestants to improve?!
Now coming to the voting, that also doesn't make the show any different from other singing reality shows on this one.. viewers are given one whole week to vote... and as far as i remember from the uk x factor voting lines are open once all the performances are done and you have just few hours to vote for your favourite.
And last the judges, i said that them only praising each other and the contestants is a good point because it keeps the positivity on the show but at the same time if they continue to only praise the contestants and not show them their mistakes in their performance be it with the singing or the staging(choreography) there will never ever be an improvement in the contestants... I feel like the judges love each other too much to be able to point out the bad things out of their acts, which is... bad.
Anyway this is what i think about the show, hope you guys leave your feedback, do tell if you agree/disagree with the post and why. 😊

don't agree with u... u want judges to bash on each other..they will raise a comment if the contestants will do anything mistake..but i don't think that our judges had chosen a bad singers to point them bad

Chillex😊 its just the 1st gala, there are many more episodes to come. I dont think Live telecast is necessary as it doesnt sound feasible. When it comes to giving constructive criticism, dont worry the judges will start doing that too.

And i never said that i want the judges to bash each other or have fights on the show, i just said i wanted to see constructive criticism so that we can see improvement in contestants.. aren't judges suppose to tell the contestants what was really good in their performance and what needs to be improved?
@red I did say in the good points that all the singers are amazing, so i never said that they were bad or judges needed to point them bad, no... i just said that i wanted the judges to tell them what needs to be improved and if there is no more room for improvement for all of them then why are the judges on the show? 😳

Anyway i'm sorry if i've hurt you through my post and this reply... and i'm also sorry if my post made you think that i wanted the judges to bash each other, i guess i need to be more careful on my words on this forum 😊

Thanks for replying, i know i'm realising i kind of came to a conclusion in the first week only, i hope the judges start to give constructive criticism so that we can see improvement in the contestants' singing 😊
And i'm sure and i hope actually that the show will improve from week to week 😊

i completely agree with you on the show overall...im not that interested even after watching the show in entirety, although i think there is still room for improvement and will wait on it...i will do this much as a major Sonu Nigam fan...

I agree the show can get better and i hope it does..
So far i think Sonu is the only one who told the contestants that they can improve but sadly he said that only to his own acts.

hey roshni..c'mon yaar..neither u had hurted me nor u shud feel sorry..😳 u have ur own opinions...and yes as hunk said jus wait n see..its jus completed only one gala round😃

the show seems "OK" types..i liked indian idol more...first season. :)
