When Naina was talking to Daksh outside, near his car, two strangers push the gate and come into the compound. Daksh asks them, why they have come, and they ask him, if
this is not the Patwardan house, and on hearing him say, yes, they rush into the house, and Daksh and Naina follow after them. The men confront the family, who are sitting and ask them why they have not yet moved their belongings outside. One of them says, that they will have to do it himself, and starts to throw something from the table. When the family tells them how they could do this, they tell him, that Shridar Patwardan has mortgaged the house to one Usman, a money lender, and Vidhyadar, tells them he got the loan from the bank. They laugh at him and say, which bank is prepared to give him loan. It is only Usman Bhai who comes to their help. He took his five lakhs, and has to pay fifteen more. If it does not come, they will possess the house.. And if they do not get it back, they will take possession of the house. At this point, Minoo Tai and Abhi also happen to come into the room, and are surprised at the commotion that is going on in the room. Naina protests once, but then Daksh butts in and he tries to call Shridar Kaka, but his phone is switched off, and the men tell him, why they had to come, because he has run away. Daksh asks them if they have papers. They show him, the contract with his uncle, and he tells them, that the house does not belong to him, but his father. They tell him, that Usman is real, Shridar is real, and the money he took is real. They only know that, and if they do not get their money, then they know what they can do to get it. They tell them, that tomorrow they will come with twenty five people. They give them one more day, and leave with threats. They say, "If you give back the 15 lakhs by tomorrow, then we shall think." They want the house vacated by 10 in the morning the next day.
Near one tea stall, Shridar has ordered tea, and is trying to call Bakshi and comes to know from him that his men have gone to vacate the house, and in spite of his efforts, nothing can be done. Shridar is worried, what will happen to his brother and his family.
As the men leave the house, Shyamal joins the family and come to know what Kaka has done and are very upset. Rohini wails and complains that if they had been firm with the Kaka, this day would not have come. No one takes her seriously. And then Akruti joins them, also unaware of what has happened in the house. Sanket suggests that they tell the police, and Vidhyadar is upset, that it may send his brother to the jail, and he does not want that. Daksh says, he will speak to a property lawyer, and he goes to meet Mr. Joshi. Naina too wants to go with him, but he tells her to stay back with the family. Abhi too wants to come with him, but he tells him, that he will go alone.
At the lawyer's office, Mr. Joshi, reads the paper and confuses between the two brothers,
and Daksh has to explain to him but he does not take Daksh seriously and tells him, he takes cases with he can enjoy. Seeing the reaction of Daksh, Joshi comes down a peg, and asks him if he too is a lawyer, and asks if he is a Criminal Lawyer. Daksh tells him he does divorce cases. The arrogant lawyer, has enriched at other people's expense and laughs at the wrong time, and this rubs Daksh the wrong way. Then he points the weakness in the case and refuses to take the case. He makes fun of the situation, and tells Daksh not to take it personally. Daksh gets up, and collects the papers, and tells him, that the matter is personal since it relates to his family, and if he does not find a way by ten in the morning, the family will be on the street, and that is why he came to him. He thought that Mr. Joshi the biggest property lawyer could help him, but what to say, he too did not want him to fight the case, as it would not give him the enjoyment that he seeks, and then adds, "Please do not take it, personally, Mr. Joshi" and he leaves. It looks as if something big has hit Joshi on his head. He might never have expected a client like Daksh.
Rohini complains that they only think of others and not her. They do not mind, if she is on the street. Ayee does not like her to complain against her uncle, and she points fingers at her mother, and tells her husband, that it was because of her ways, that they will have to be on the streets. Minoo Tai tells Rohini to calm herself and offers her some water and tells her to drink. Minoo Tai, advises them that by bickering they can not solve problems. She tells her, either think of a way to get out of the problem, or just wait till Daksh comes home. Naina is concerned for the family, and Rohini only thinks of her loss.
Daksh comes back and tells them that Joshi will not take the case. He says that it would take a day to get the stay order, but since they are planning to come tomorrow for the money, they have to make some immediate arrangements. Daksh tells them that he has four lakhs savings he can use. His father says, that he can en-cash the Fixed Deposit, of two lakhs and as soon as Rohini hears this, she pounces on him, and tells him, that he made this for her child, and how could he think of using it to help his brother. "Let his wife and daughter raise the money, especially, as now Akruti is the owner of Doli aur Barat", she tells her father in law. Minoo Tai now knows that it is a matter of fifteen lakhs, She sees first hand the character of Rohini who grudges to give something that was saved for her. She can put Rohini on one balance and Naina on the other and weigh them both, and find out who is better.
One strange thing happens, Naina abruptly leaves and goes to her room. There is something she may want to do, which will put even the bitter Minoo Tai to shame. Remember, she belongs to a rich family, and her father has left enough money and property for her but due to her modesty, she has kept this to herself so far, and not used her assets.
In the pre-cap, we see Vidhyadar sadly telling his wife, that a time has come, after spending all the money for the children, he has to see their ill treatment, and spread out his hand to them, for help. Vibha has great faith in God, and she encourages him, that He will take them out of this problem.
