Simply fantabulous piece of writing i am speechless. U have said it all perfectly the pain and restlesness of maan has been beautifully penned down.

I feel love does not have a measure...you either love someone or you don't. But yes, the way you handle love and express love makes a huge impact. This is how I see them...

Maan - He is like this kid holding his G. I. Joe every moment of his day. He plays with it, makes sure he is not rough with it. Even when he is going out, he takes it along with him. But along the way, he loses his grip and the G. I. Joe falls down. He immediately brings his attention back to the toy and picks it up lest he loses it.
Maan is exactly like that. He treasures Geet. But at times, when his attention drifts elsewhere, Geet begins to slip from his hands but he is very quick in his realization and goes back to the treasure of his life.

Geet - She is like this kid who plays with her doll, adorns her, sleeps hugging her. But when she is going for an outing, she does not carry the doll with her. She leaves it behind thinking she won't need it. But when she is out, she does. But she is late in her realization because she is already out and cannot go back to the doll immediately.
And that's Geet for us. She loves Maan but she has not valued him yet. She does not treasure him like he does her. The moment she will realize her life is empty without him, she will be sorry for her loss.

Does this even make sense? LOL

Oh dear, did I just defend Geet? Guess my heart still lies with her. What do you think Kal?

Dol, I read the whole thread that you mentioned ....it was very insightful.

Kal - Thanks buddy. It was a good read. At times it was overwhelming because I did not think so deeply, but I read it again and again and I loved it. Thanks bud! I think justifying Geet is something which both of us may never be able to give up....but the best thing is...we love her with her flaws..rather than blindly worshiping her. I'm glad to have you by my side..because it is only with you, I do not have to justify my thoughts. You understand me too well for this virtual world :)

jasw - That's why the diary is empty...those special events have not taken place yet and I don't think they will in this birth lol

sssiham - We're on the same page dear. Geet loves Maan and there is no denying that...but the only problem I have with her at the moment is her leaving her home....specially after marriage. That's a big NO NO for me because she did not try to talk even once.

maanddy - Thanks buddy. Most of the times I talk gibberish lol

Buddy! Glad to read your response. If someone asks me to give advise to Geet now, this is what I would say to her:

Hold your breath,
forget the pain you feel creeping in on you.
Think about the love you used to have.
The lightheartedness takes you over
and you float away into a world you almost forgot,
a place full of happiness and passion.
Where you are blind to the bad,
and the sad days are over,
no longer a threat or worry.
Just the peace that tomorrow
will be another day spent in his arms.

Why does one find what they are looking for in the last place? Because they stop looking once they get what they want. We can also say that one finds only what they seek....
If only Geet saw beyond what she found (Maan's harsh words), she would have seen the ocean of love in his eyes. But what can we do......<SIGH>

Thats what I also feel Dol, she does not see further than her pain...his words were harsh, but she didnt wait a moment to even think back as to why he was reacting so violently. She knew that he had not heard what she had said about her forgiving Dev.

Brilliant again..............though I lost the spirit to watch the pain he's going thru again n again but u made me feel proud that how much I respect this man who never keeps his ownself above his love ever.......

Wow, u wrote msks feeling so nicely. I actually missed d forum activities at tht point of time when u wrote this one(exams...grr..), bt m glad tht i did find it now:-) it feels so good to see him repenting. I know thts strange bt i like repenting, grieved man bcoz they did hurt d woman of their life in past.
